I highly recommend to watch the live performance of gfriend crossroads and labyrinth. Promise, if you want more high note, "labyrinth" will slap you. I think the butterfly represents the butterfly effect. Eunha has the power of traveling time and space with the glass beads and butterflies. So in one of the shots they show her room getting destroyed as time passes. I think this represents their weakening bond and as much as she tries to rewind time to make things right at some point everything will fall apart, like the butterfly effect when you go back in time to fix something later on it will have an effect and cause a bigger issue. That’s what I got from the mv. Sorry if it doesn’t make sense my first language isn’t English. 😩

My theory: Butterfly represents Eunha's power to turn back time. She is trying to back to when they are all still together and also to save Yerin. Yerin may have died because of their friendship fall out. Eunha tries to save Yerin as seen in the part that her room is being destroyed, maybe that's the number of time she went back in time and failed. But after Yerin was saved, it seems like Umji became the sacrifice. Butterfly may also represents Butterfly effect. Since they change the future where Yerin died, Umji's future gets affected. She maybe the new casualty.
