This might be my final video playing Crit Aphelios... at least until Randuin's Omen gets nerfed or removed. That item is just too strong and cheap right now. But hey, no complaints here-just gotta adapt and keep carrying games. I’m excited to test out the new Statik Shiv and Kraken Slayer builds for Aphelios! Hope you’re as pumped as I am! Enjoy the video and stay tuned for some epic gameplay with the new setups. Let’s make Aphelios shine in the next meta!

From my personal experimentation with the super server player 003's Aphelios build I have found Yuntal to be very good but in certain scenarios. The build first and foremost is Yuntal into berserkers, then LDR, IE, Ruunans, into flex but usually BT last he also opts for lethal tempo and maxing w then q then e. From my personal experimentation with it I have found that Collector first spikes harder unless you have severum q with Yuntal that's where it really starts to outshine other builds. Once you hit your 3 item spike with the completion of IE your damage starts to become insane as you have a lot of attack speed to reapply the Yuntal damage extremely quickly especially with severum q applying it about 7-8 times depending on level. I have also been really liking to start with longsword 2 pots as this allows you a 400 gold head start on Yuntal or Collector lowering their effective costs to 2600 which is cheaper than Zeal items like Ruunans and Navori. This allows for a quicker powerspike for your first item which can make quick a big difference in early skirmishes. This power spike can be especially potent in combination with the free boots keystone allowing you to save another 300 gold not purchasing boots. Highly recommend giving it a go the stats from lolalytics.com/ say that the longsword 2 pot start has a much higher winrate than all other starting items for laners who can effectively utilize it by building a longsword item. Although the stat is definitely at a lower playrate in comparison I still found it compelling enough to give this idea a go and have found great success with it thus far.

Blade of the ruIned king is essential on adc for late game health stakers without it you take forever to kill a tank and your team can't peel for you

If u ask me, non crit items tend to be cheap and have high stats. The purpose of buying these is to have an impact early game since crit scaling is late game oriented. I guess in his elo games tend to be short that's why he goes non crit early for maximum map presence.

rn the ebst thing u can do is a lethality item 1st, like yommu or hubris, then full crit, becouse crit early its so weak and rng depending, so u kinda use those kind of items to transition and be a champ earlier, and statick I used it as an alternaative in hard lanes to just waveclear, farm and scale, now bork is just dogshit

Why I Don’t Start Crit: While crit builds provide damage, they lack essential stats needed in the current meta: movement speed (MS) and attack speed (AS). Crit is also expensive, especially compared to early-game power spikes with other builds. Movement Speed (MS): MS is crucial for kiting, disengaging, and re-engaging. Without it early (or within your first two items), you're forced to rely on your team’s decisions in fights-something you can’t afford in solo queue, especially in lower elos. As Aphelios, you need to control when to fight and when to deal damage since no one will peel or wait for you. Attack Speed (AS): AS is underrated but valuable, especially with Crescendum. While you don’t need much AS in melee range, even a slight increase boosts your damage significantly. It also improves the other weapons, making them viable in chaotic solo queue fights. Crescendum and Calibrum combo benefit the most from early AS. Crit's High Cost: Crit builds take time to reach their full potential, and the real power spike comes from Infinity Edge (IE)-the most expensive item in the game. Other crit options like Collector offer lethality but are often negated by armor (Tabis) until you get Lord Dominik’s Regards (LDR), which is weaker than it used to be. Rushing IE presents the same problem: lack of MS and AS. You can compensate with Alacrity, AS boots, or points in W, but that means missing out on Bloodline's sustain, or losing MS and slow reduction by skipping Swiftness Boots for Berserker Greaves, which are crucial in this meta. Everyone has a slow now, especially with global red buff. Crit Scaling: Crit offers the best late-game damage, but games rarely last long enough for you to hit a full build. With this meta’s fast pace, you need early impact to snowball into the mid-to-late game. By going 2 non-crit items into LDR and IE, you maintain early-game power and can transition into late-game dominance if it lasts that long. Tempo and Kiting: Without MS and AS, you’ll struggle to kite effectively, especially as Aphelios. This build gives you the tools to control the tempo of fights and roam more efficiently. If you aren't comfortable kiting, this build won’t work, as its strength lies in using your mobility and attack speed to weave in and out of fights, not relying on big crits. Closing Thoughts: Crit builds can be great, but in this meta, tempo and mobility are key. If you want to have an impact early and transition into a monster later, this hybrid approach offers the best of both worlds. Keep an eye on the minimap, choose your fights, and you’ll have much more control over the game. More build variations coming soon in future videos. Hope this helped!

He started with non crit items but late game went for crit, he mentioned that yun tal was also a mistake of a purchase and that BORK is 10x the item, so its more of a 75% crit build

The main issue with that is how expensive it is, but i can see it working against comps with heavy frontlane tbh
