Too dark and too dusty? I added light strips to the inside and changed out the dust collector with a shop vac. It is definitely better now but not perfect. I have a direct pressure blasting cabinet, those are more powerful than the syphon type but so dusty.

i loved what you did and I am in the middle of restoring 5 different trucks right now. These are my toys from 1963, I played with them and so did many other kids over the years. Seeing your restoration on this truck is leading me a whole different way on the pickup I just started. I bet the top is lower and it is slammed too. All that said I have two questions. Why not cut the front cab supports to lock down and also it looked like you didn't powder coat on the roof when you finished chopping it. Did I miss that?
@xSpecterx999999993 жыл бұрын
I should have cut it so it locked in, actually never crossed my mind. I powder coated it before chopping it. I really should have chopped before powder coating. that was a mistake. Glad you enjoyed the video. Good luck with you builds!

I used a clear powder coat so you can see through to the metal underneath. If you watch almost all the way at the end you can see the scratches from certain angles. It makes it a pretty cool effect.
