Try playing Aizawa with this mindset: "My sole purpose is to ruin this person's day." In game 1 you did it with that Tsui. You just wouldn't leave her ass alone and she paid for it.

Aizawa just isn't going to work in ranked with the selfish rewards system. His kit just isn't built for it. No amount of skill or buffs is going to let him consistently hit 6k damage. It's not Aizawa that needs fixing, it's the game... but also Aizawa needs fixing. For a different reason.

I think the only Aizawa I ever saw make it to the final two teams was when the whole lobby had the no revive glitch, no items glitch, and he was being hard carried by Ida and Dabi while Aizawa sat in a corner, not even offering help. XD Good games, though! You did so much more than anything I ever saw. ^^b

I just think he's too badly flawed on a fundamental level, alpha should work like Froppy alpha on buildings instead of the kick and his damage just isn't on par compared to most other characters

On later reflection. No. He has beta for vertical movement if needed while also doubling as a means for horizontal movement while alpha serves as horizontal movement entirely. Even then, some cases, alpha is good to use vertically. He is not meant to do damage. He is meant to support. Everything in his kit screams a supporting playstyle. His quirk negation His ability to pull enemies closer. Easy Mobility to reposition for his quirk negation and for safety. Ability to keep enemies stalled for a long period of time. Fundamentally he is fine. And now with his buffs he is viable.

@@k1ngtobi yeah. But if a team is competent. They focus you because you have no mobility. Can’t revive if you are down too quickly and don’t have a teammate able to protect you effectively. Aizawa at least has good mobility to get out of situations unlike ibara. I truly don’t think aizawa is as bad as people make it out to be. He is perfectly fine. Maybe a small buff or two and he becomes a strong pick rather than just solid. And there is argument to be made his quirk negation is as good as revive. One saves a teammate. Another prevents teammates from getting attacked.
