Hack for the sales table: You can leave those food items in it for basically a long time. They don't go bad for DAYS but if you keep them in your inventory they go bad super quickly. Also, if you want to make sweets for super cheap to sell, the cupcake machine can pump out cupcakes for very cheap and the bacon cupcakes can sell for tons of money.
