As a partnered streamer I can say that most of us will be fine, some of us won't be and we always knew this was an unstable industry going in. Twitch itself is in trouble however as they are basically only allowed to exist via the whims of Amazon. They have never been profitable and losing this kind of revenue source for them is going to put them even further into the red.

Its kind of crazy that anyone expects some kind of fairness from a company like this. The money drives the decisions, the corporation is a faceless zombie that only craves money, you should not expect fairness, and to be completely frank, people who make their living at the whims of cast offs from a faceless corporation deserve whatever inconsistency and chain jerking that they get. I open Twitch and click on something. Immediately I have a whole lineup of advertisements I have to watch before I find out if I am even interested in watching the content that I clicked on. I immediately close the the tab and do something else. No thanks. Secondarily I'm tired of platforms trying to police everyday opinions by taking a side. At the same time they are pushing their own ideology like many other tech companies. Also why can't I hide all the half naked distracting female content? I don't want to see it.

Don't fuck with the people paying your bills. If you want to say whatever you want you have to build your own platform or go to a platform that fits what you want to say. I understand that you believe that these things that I am saying are MY opinion, rather than merely stating what happened and what others had said. My critique of inconsistency is just that. I even went so far as to say that I was purposefully NOT entering into a debate about which side was right and gave equal time to both sides, their infractions, and their punishments. THAT SAID, you obviously have a belief that you are sharing and a side that you support, and that is great for you. I do not. I inform. They violated ToS and they said what they said.
