Can Tzar Guard (Great Weapons) Beat Chosen of Tzeentch (Halberds) in Total War: Warhammer 3?

Khorne was fighting against rank 9 they beat regular Tzar Guard rather confidently.

i was expecting them to win because of the shields, moire melee attack WAAAY more defense... total war is weird.

I like Kislev but sometime they felt like they doesn't had their own thing to draw people in to them Like Empire has their artilery, Cathay had their Harmony and Brettonia had their cavalry What Kislev specialize at, their Bear??? Their hybrid unit sound fun but just fall short in practical, while other is just too strong or too shitty to have fun.

theyre not even chaos warriors are on par or stronger with the strongest mortal units....chosen basically make a mockery of any southlander units, they can tear knights from their horses on foot, they can slaughter even the dwarfs high kings own elite body guard without any fuss and forced the dwarfs back into praag. if your taking lore wise stats just look at TT. Chaos warrior would have like 50 WS for great weapon with 40 attack with very high hp Chosen would be like 80 WS and 50/50+ Attack defence even without the mark of chaos BS. its just a game thing where kislev needs to be very strong as a newbie faction and also By our blood being the most broken shit.

Well. That was interesting. The XP difference made a real difference, and the Halberds did okay, actually. Better than expected. Not sure how I feel about it, though, to be honest.

Tzar Guard rank 8 vs Chosen of Khorne was a good fight, the 8 ranks did a lot of difference! and seems that the Chosen Halberds won coz their barrier eat the Tzar Guard charge damage meaning it didint lose entities in the charge, that means more damage too

@@TheHandofDestiny Yet it did, just watch again and see Chosen of Khorne dying on the charge and taking tons of damage that for the Halberd version did went in their shields; it's no wise to underestimate the bonus that a charged atack gives and for the Tzar Guard is 22, ok for a foot soldier

@piazinho93 They didn't die on the charge, Charge Bonus lasts 10 seconds, a single Tzar Guard doesn't have the weapon strength to kill a Chosen Model on the first initial charge, though Khorne and Tzeentch performed about the same in this case, so I guess it doesn't really matter

@@TheHandofDestiny bro you can literally see Chosen of Khorne models falling and losing members on the charge, theres no such 1v1 on the charge that make unit hp pool of the Chosen really matter as more units can hit the same, also look at the hp bar loss in the first 10 sec; the Chosen Halberds doesnt get that charge hp damage coz their shield tanked it as you can also see in the video and everybody knows that units with shield are good to eat charges and not to get bursted easly

Magic damage, and armor piercing did help.

magic damage only helps vs pyshical resistence, in this fight its useless. But the amor piercing did help, and the most diference is their barrier eating the Tzar Guards charge damage.

great video. I have to question why in the world the tzar guard only gets veterancy to offset the cost discrepancy vs the knornate chosen, especially when the tzeench chosen are even more expensive, so the tzar guard should really have veterancy 8 against them too. Just invalidates any comparison between the tests sadly.

@@QualityGames-ql1jc Thank you. i had not seen the earlier vid. Maybe it should be a regular thing when cost diff is significant. maybe one of the five units is cost equilized, or maybe do one round without veterancy and one with in the same video, if it will not bloat the runtime too much.

This is insane - For an 1100 AP unit, they shouldn't be doing that much work. Har ganeth executioners are 50 cheaper, and they would be doing nowhere near this much. This reminds of the Greatswords of Warhammer 1. Absolutely insane. COmbine this with kislev healing? This is actually broken
