It doesn't make sense. Is it possible the University overallocated corporate seating? Ten companies with 200 tickets could make a pretty big dent. Is it possible the price for season tickets was so extreme that they were purchased by wealthy individuals who just want to attend three of the biggest games? Lack of creativity or competency from the marketing department? I think focusing on the sentiment of fans is probably the wrong approach here. I'm leaning toward companies awarding them to employees who couldn't care less.

1. I do believe that the football season and how it has played out is affecting the morale of fans, and MAYBE certain ticket holders want to take it out on the program. Yes, Arkansas has Calipari, BUT football is KING. If you're not satisfying those thousands of fans who come during the football season, then they will take it out on you in different ways. 2. Ticket prices - families and fans can only pay for so much, and with football season still in session, you have to make a conscious decision if you can attend the football game, basketball game, or both. If the prices are too much, then some fans just can't attend either sport. Make the prices more feasible for fans and families and include incentives for people showing up. 3. Marketing - we know how great of a marketer Musselman was as the coach of Arkansas, but that is also not the number one job for a Head Coach. You have a marketing department whose number one purpose is to market the school and athletics. There should be no reason a department should solely rely on a Head Coach for one of their top sports to do their job. Stop being lazy and do the job you're paid to do. 4. Fans with tickets - you know days or HOURS in advance (MOST OF THE TIME) if you are unable to attend a certain game. You need to utilize Facebook, X/Twitter, the university's website, etc. to resell the tickets at a good price to people who WANT to attend the game. There is someone up there in NW Arkansas who would buy those tickets on a whim to attend a game because that might be their only opportunity.

I think a lot has to do with all the transfers/NIL players. The students just don’t know them. No connection.

Attendance issues will go away once football season ends. We're still in football mode right now.

It’s crazy how we have a pretty good basketball team n if healthy we could be undefeated. Football stadium is packed but the product on the field isn’t that good. Fans still show. Do the fans not like Coach Cal?

Eric musselman would get people with tickets that weren’t going to use them to give them to him to give them to people that will use them. Cal doesn’t do this.
