The AI is the stupidest thing ever with protecting it's ports from naval invasions. Has been since the beginning of Hoi4 and to my knowledge was NEVER fixed. There's NO way they should have lost to invasions in 1942/43. 😛

they will literally be weaker because they're all limited by one focus tree, meaning none but main land Germany gets any buffs or construction

Yes but all the fuel from romania makes it worth it and having Italy as your ally is a debuf as in of itself

not exactly though, since the german focus tree is quite good for a fast development, but mainly the thing is that they are developing in a unified manner and they have so many civs and mills that if they do things properly, then they should end up being much stronger than normal, although its hoi4 so they wouldnt do anything properly

The Axis would be Weaker but in Reality the Axis would be Stronger cause Germany would take mostly every resources of each country and build more Panzers and Battleships and other Equipment to strengthen their Power and they might reach Moscow, Stalingrad, Leningrad. They might even occupy London. But I think Germany wouldn't care of Japan or Hirohito would manage like a Government in the Japanese Empire and still Rule most of South East Asia.
