Great video Danny! You got me at family. Ugh I miss my Nana too. It was an absolute honor to be her granddaughter for so many years 🖤 My Nana bought my mom a NES back in the early 90s for “stress relief.” Mom did play with me and my brother. I have many good memories with my brother playing Zelda and Mario. I am with you on the negativity. There are far more things to be offended by than a video game. Those people need to touch grass bahaha

@doommama Not only touch it but maybe smoke it as well 🤣! Ah it's so nice that your Nana bought a NES! Memories like these are priceless! Thank you for watching! You know I appreciate it!

Nice first video and topic. I grew up watching my dad play on our Atari 2600 and Spectrum computer. Then i started playing around 4 or 5 years of age, and i haven't looked back in 40 years. Of course everything has evolved but the core essence has remained the same. For the love of gaming 💚 🎮

You're right, as long as the passion for gaming is still there, I think we'll be ok! Thanks for watching as always!!

You certainly do love hype haha. I always enjoy seeing the list of the new games you send me that are being announced or were just announced. Honestly, I moved to a different state than all my family and friends and I'm pretty much alone here. I think that's why I've gotten so connected to the video game community since I don't really have the option to hang out with family and friends. I also play games to escape reality.

That's good that you were able to find people to connect with, even if it's online! It makes you feel less alone when talking and being part of this hobby! Thanks for watching and all the help you've provided for my channel!!

Man, this video hit hard. So much honesty and wisdom, especially when it comes to family and the passage of time. We need to reflect on that and not be worried about gamer drama. I have more to say, but as a buddy, I'm going to discuss it with you tomorrow! I love the direction of the channel with this vid, and am looking forward to the one you put out earlier today!

I'm glad that you resonated with this video as I didn't know what to expect from anyone watching / listening to it! Sure, send me a message tomorrow and we'll talk some more! Thanks for watching as always! It's really appreciated!

Awesome my guy. You're right there's so many bigger problems in this world and one thing to keep in mind is it could always be worse. Someone is in a worse situation then you like you mentioned this can be a tough time of the year for people with the holidays. Thank you for putting this together and sharing. It was fun to watch. And yes use your cellphone lol. I have a mic that I use if I'm just doing a voiceover but when on camera I use a pixel 6 and I'm sure the microphone on the phone sounds just as good as the cheap mic I have.

Thanks for taking the time to watch! Yes, it can only get worse, so arguing about video games is kind of a low priority during those times!

Great talking points Dan. Scott and I love our games and it's our happy escape reality unplug from social media time. It's so great when we get to share it with a community of like-minded people. Always appreciate your positivity. Great first video!

Thanks for taking the time to watch! It means a lot that you did! I'm releasing the 2nd one tomorrow evening about Anonymity Online. I think I've found my format on how I want to tackle some subjects to try to bring some positivity back into our hobby! I'm not saying that I won't change some things, but the model at least is there! Thanks again!

Great topic brother! In my own opinion, videogames are not a cure, but they are definitely a great escape and Vice! Growing up I had little to no friends and grew up in a really rough home. For me, videogames were a great escape from the realities of my life. Fast forward to today, I still feel like videogames are my Vice when times are dark. Because there, I am always the hero. Thanks for sharing your thoughts Dan-O! Always appreciate your take on these topics. Keep up the wholesome content! It’s amazing!

Thank you for the kind words! I think that a lot of people could relate to spending time alone at home playing video games to escape! I know, I did and still do!

You’re 100% correct my good man! Buy and play what you want. It’s seems en vogue to hate on almost everything nowadays. Just move along and live your life you know! I don’t understand people anymore. I really think the last few years have broken people in some weird way. 1st world problems they say. Great topic and video my friend! Hope you are doing well!
@DanofWar1019 күн бұрын
You're right about some people being broken! It's like they have to hate on everyone and everything for no real reason! Thanks for watching and I hope you have a great rest of your week!

Yes, you are certainly the most informed and hyped gamer I know! I love getting gaming news from you!

I'm surprised I haven't annoyed you yet with the constant barrage of trailer links of upcoming games that I keep sending you 🤣

You are actually creating here. This is pretty much a podcast. You could do some cool things. We gotta get u an elgato and then you can just record your gameplay on their interface. But u could upload the audio track to Apple & Spotify or something as well as this.
@DanofWar1019 күн бұрын
I already have an Elgato but I think I was having issues with it before as my PC was a bit old. Now that I have a better one, maybe I'll be able to record my own gameplay which would be preferable for sure! Thanks for the input and for watching!

Everything in life is a waste of time, depends how you look at it. I choose to not play as much anymore, but if I could I would. I stopped watching all the videos trashing new releases, don't really watch any positive ones either anymore. I'm 90% out of the gaming community now. I rely on you to send me links from time to time on stuff I might like lol. Elder scrolls 6 let's go! No more life!
@DanofWar1014 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching! It will be a while until we hear from Elder Scrolls 6! But it will be a Day 1 pur game for me, whatever people say online! You should keep playing Skyrim to keep practicing on your lockpicking skills, lol!
