Good to see you making another Marauders video. I'm super pumped for the update, but then again I'm fairly easy to please. The PVP is fun, but I tend to be more PVE and quest focused, so I'm probably a minority of player type. I'm hopful this update will bring people back, but I'm also willing to wait on the long game. It's my understanding that games like Cycle and Hunt SHowdown had player base issues in the first couple of years of their development, and now they're getting a lot more attention. I hope the same trend will hold true for Marauders. I think they're not marketing the game aggressively becasue they know there's not enough content in the game for a huge player base. We really need more variety in raid quests, multiple faction specific mission threads other than Zero to Hero, continuing to work on isolating and resolving the dupping issues, new loot and ways to use that loot, more money sinks that matter, and FAR more benifits to Prestiging. The things I'm most looking forward to are more ships (which are most likely just varients of the existing ships with differing armor, speed, hardpoints, and some visual distinctions), salvaging both pods and wrecks (I'm hoping we can salvage from the static wrecks of satillites, ships, and space stations ion addition to pods), and of course VOIP which had a HUGE impact on Tarkov and is a fantastic feature in Cycle. I know that's a lot to read, so thanks for taking the time. Marauders has strong bones and I'm cautiously hopeful for the future.

Marauders feels like it doesn't know what it wants to be. Hard-core leaderboard competition or casual tarkov.

I’ve been top 10 for a long time, but quit 3 months ago, just not enough players sadly. Resources need to be more scarce

Played 250 hours first couple months after launch. Played some Red Baron update but definitely wasn't enough content to keep us engaged. This update hopefully keeps our interest longer than a week. If they had monthly updates and bug fixes would keep bigger player base. Might be couple years before game has most of it needs

I plan to come back when the new content comes out, I might actually play a bit today to refresh my knowledge on how to play so that tomorrow doesn't end up being a disaster for me. As for those who I think to come back, my best guess is that most people that played before will return to see what's new.

The biggest issue with the game really is only how early access it is. It's like how Tarkov was when it initially released. It'll just take some time but it'll probably get popular with one or two more major patches

The big problem I started having with marauders is empty lobbies. I'd do raids and if i was lucky maybe encounter 1 team/solo. Another thing that bothered me is the Oxygen timer. I HATE when I have a timer on me especially at the start when I didn't really know the maps and finding my way back to my ship etc. Was impossible.

Dude, I understand your point, but people who enjoy battling against an IA actually do exist. I came from escape from Tarkov and got sick of the rats and the chads. I actually like playing against the bots in Marauders and the casual solo or team stalking you. It’s not that bad of a game, it’s just that you prefer pure pvp experience, that’s all.

Yeah you can’t judge this game for its player population within just the first 6 months or so. Tarkov didn’t really take off until like year 2 or 3

Huge content drought caused the player count, it's why my friends and I stopped playing. We came back for this update and have been having a blast. I think that they need to diversify progression with more faction quests and expensive things to spend our money and more things to unlock through prestige Once the game feels less barebones, they should market it really agressively because I'm convinced it has broad appeal and is in my opinion an excellent game. A console port should be their focus after launch, I think that with proper marketing it would easily double their numbers

Games main issue is the awful mixture of tense and boring as fuck. Mexican standoffs constantly, constant maps with no players in sight, barely any ai, no sounds, its the boring quiet parts that are so tense. You staring at a doorway knowing a guy is watching the other side, and you both just sit there for 4 minutes waiting. shit is dreadfully boring
