What about the “bring kittens back to their mom” shines? In my memory, *it is not possible to get the kitten (located at Crisp Climb Castle) sitting with you on Plessie (to then bring it to the Ruins Giga Bell) unless you wear the Cat Suit.*

When I saw this was a video, I decided to try it myself first. I figured it couldn't be too difficult, so I decided from the start that I would aim for every Cat Shine. There were a couple differences in our methods. For example, you used Plessie for Climb to the Shine. I brought over a Propeller Box from Scamper Shores. In fact, I heavily abused bringing Propeller Boxes to other islands. It was how I got to the top of Clawswipe Colosseum, although I just used the blocks to leave the place. I also brought one up Mount Magmeow for Gazing Down at Lava. Overall, it was a very easy challenge. If you want to try another challenge, get all 100 Cat Shines without touching blocks. I tried this even before I saw you started No Block challenges. For a bonus challenge, limit the use of the Propeller Box. I only needed it for Risky Whisker Island's timer challenge (Hurry! Hop behind the Wall!), although I suspect someone sufficiently skilled could use 2-player mode to reach the Cat Shine without it. Additionally, I counted Plessie being on blocks as Mario being on blocks. After all, you're controlling Plessie and he triggers the Donut Blocks (fun fact, he also triggers them when you aren't riding him).

Why would using that Nyxi controller make the challenge easier? All you really have to do is lure the bullies to the flipping platforms with the regular controller, and simply jump on the Kameks. Anyway, the floating island Cat Shine is great to save for last, as then you can sit back up there with Jr., overlook Lake Lapcat, listen to the calm music, and think “Man, what an adventure. We became allies, calmed down Bowser, brought peace back to this world, and got every Cat Shine in it. I’m proud of us Jr., how about you?”
