hi rogurt, about beans the dog, when she starts acting weird, its best to let her stay because she actually turns back to normal the next day and leaves the bunker leaving a whistle that takes 1 can of food to use. Every time you use this whistle beans will come back and leave a random item (this whistle stacks meaning you can use spam it if you have alot of food) hope this helps

For Beans (the dog) if you let her in and keep her after she gets all deformed she’ll actually give you a bell, when you ring it she will stop by to give u resources like batteries, toolboxes, etc.

The only issue with the events is that it's pure RNG on which response was right. There's no way to predict or counter anything accordingly as either answer has a 50/50 chance of biting you in the ass (as displayed by the alien encounter), so it's not a test of cleverness and management but praying constantly to RNGesus to be in your favor ever time you do something.

Late reply, but no, it's not really based off of RNG. Speaking as a 217 day survivor and a survivor of multiple 100+ days. For example, for the Alien Encounter event (idk if that's the one where you meet the fake aliens or that little alien child), if you give the fake aliens the supplies they request, they'll just go away and you don't have to worry about them. If you don't, they'll either come to attack you or an actual alien will come. If they come to attack you and you beat them, you'll get supplies. If an alien comes instead, just give them a toy and you'll even get extra health from them and nothing else happens. If you don't have a toy, they'll send you to a game where you avoid the lasers, which is relatively easy to beat. This game is about *management* the only rng is praying what supplies you'll find.

When the dog stands up it's actually giving birth and you can either survive the dog or give it 1 food and water

@@mimic3873 If you don't kick Beans out, she won't attack you. And actually after she births a puppy, she'll go away soon and leave a whistle. You can use that whistle to call her again for a temporary amount of time and pay her to find more supplies for you.

In the looting phase you NEED a blueprint, mask, bag, and batteries and a weapon. For the beginning, check the vents and explore early, if there are raiders then steal their food and water, if there are monsters then go to the back door with a torch, and if it’s empty then you can get medkit, food and water, duct tape, batteries, toolbox, and a lot more. In the mid game (around 15 days in) it is recommended to sleep a bit since your sanity would be pretty low, and you also are probably low on medkits since most bad things happen around day 10. Around day 25 is when the ending occurs, you need a couple batteries and a strong melee weapon (upgraded a couple times) to defeat the stronger monsters and to protect the win condition. A couple things that I wanted to mention: Low sanity causes you to hallucinate “free food” and if you collect it you will take damage, you will also see hallucinations of yourself which will quickly run towards you and deal damage. Low food and water is very bad, as most things require that (trades, living, taxes, etc.) Don’t be afraid to get rat traps, they are useful to kill rats in the vents but cant be used for spiders (you need a bug spray for that) NEVER HAVE ALL 4 PEOPLE GO OUT TO EXPLORE: You will not be able to maintain the vault and zombies, werewolves, chickens, rats, spiders, will be able to freely roam the vault for an unwelcoming surprise… Keep every single resource as high as possible, you might need it for something important later on Explorations aren’t simply run out and collect beans, there are multiple locations and areas in the store. The shelves (rat traps, food and water, bugspray, The pharmacy (medkits), and The Backrooms (very dark but is the most useful in resources, be careful though because raiders use all the supplies in the pharmacy and backrooms, and they can also spawn in there aswell. If you see red skeletons hanging on chains, there are raiders. If there aren’t but you still see moving things and health bars then there are monsters. None of the above and there aren’t any dangers (except maybe the poisonous air) and feel free to get anything you like If you want more detail I can help

Btw few tips: -the dog brings stuff back to the base every few days, even after it mutates -don’t spray cockroaches, you can make “peace” with them which is better than fighting them (they can end ur run) -sleeping heals it all people sleep (pretty sure all have to, couldn’t get results yet)

If you do play this game again, let the dog stay. The dog can grab recourses and if the dog mutated and stands up, keep it because it just brings its puppy then leaves while leaving a whistle behind. You can use the dog whistle beside the food where the dog was and to use it it’s -1 food but the dog can bring useful thing except for food. When I did a run, the dog brought back 4 toolboxes even though you can only have 2 at a time so it’s really good and useful

well, technically you can beat the game. But only if you chose to save the scientist. Otherwise it gets endless. A lot of people may say it gets boring, I like it even when the events run out. Its just fun going out and trying to survive as you slowly become a physcopath with your friends or alone.
