Since you are new to content creation and have a bit of an accent as well considering you're a fellow EU gamer, I'd advise you the following. Subtitles; For Valheim specifically, yellow text with a slightly more bolder font with a black stroke would be perfect. As a person who has done subtitles in the past, it will take you a very long time writing and animating and putting text with the right timing across everything you say, but it will keep people a bit more engaged. You also mumble and are a bit hard to understand at times despite having a good microphone so this would help. Practice talking and pronounciation; You do a lot " Uhm " -- " Ah " and the likes. Which opens gaps in the attention grabbing you should be attempting to do and it just doesn't feel good to listen to. Certainty and confidence helps a commentary by a lot. Editing; Like when you were putting down the turnips, you could've edited it all out in a sequence where you cut each turning plant and speed it up. Watching someone do mundane things in a very slow matter like that just doesn't retain attention. In fact, it becomes almost annoying to watch. That said though, I'm not talking about ADHD level of editing and cutting. But just seeing the whole gameplay of everything, a person would feel better playing the game rather than watching someone else do it. There's no " entertainment " factor in this which, there should be because videos are a form of entertainment. Other than that, keep going! Good luck on your journey.

Thank you for your comments! It's great to get this type of feedback, very much appreciated! I've done subtitling in the past. Not for KZbin, but I've worked in video production for many years, where subtitling is required. And I love subtitles myself - whenever I watch English content, I always watch with English subtitles, so I know how important they are. Unfortunately, like you said, subtitling takes time. Too much time. I already spend up towards 16 hours producing each episode of this series, and I just can't justify spending even more time on it, not with a full time job and three kids. But believe me, I've thought about it, and I would very much want to. I just can't afford the time to do it. As for my voice work, I have an upcoming _Channel Update_ video where I'll explain (among other things) in more detail some of the reasons why my voice work is the way it is. But a large part of it is because I'm speaking in a foreign language. I don't always find the right words. At times, I have to stop and think about what I'm saying or how it should be pronounced. I've practiced speaking English for close to 40 years now, and I think there's very little I could do to improve it further. Possibly some very expensive voice and English coaching could help a tiny bit, but I can't afford that for a non-commercial KZbin channel. And switching the series to Swedish wouldn't work either, as that would cut my potential audience by a factor of 100. I completely agree with you that editing is important, and should be done to improve flow and keep things interesting. Which is why I've always cut down every single farming session I've done in this playthrough, only keeping the planting of the first and last few vegetables in the video, and cutting away the rest. And since I did that in this video as well (the entire planting session of 100 turnips where cut down to 13 seconds), I'm not quite sure what you refer to. Maybe I just misunderstood what you meant. It's also the same reason why I always cut away portal transitions, bed time and wood cutting, and speed up all longer walks. But it's also important to remember that this series is classified as a full playthrough, not as a curated series, and so it should include all gameplay moments during the playthrough, even though I'm allowing myself shorten (but not completely remove) the more mundane of them. Thank you again for taking the time to write such detailed feedback! I really do appreciate that!
