You could have put the card you wanted to the right of the joker that eats other jokers during the round for multiplier. It will not eat it during the round and you will still get it in the end. Just have to remember to move it back that is the hard part.

The Showman card has a chance to make double of a certain card (54:49) you might see the same joker that you bought. Eg. I had Sock and Buskin (retriggers all played face cards) I saw the same card in the shop so I had 2 of Socks and Buskin.

If you already know this, I apologise, I just wanted to clarify, as I think you weren't consciously handling it during the game (this is a maths explanation thing in non mathy terms): if you have the polychrome heart mult card to the right of the dagger while in a fight, it would x1.5 the mult added by the dagger as well. It may have impacted the length of this run, it may not. But you would have had to move your cards around a lot, to protect your polychrome. Basically, xMult needs to be the furthest right in a hand and the joker line-up, for the best effect, otherwise you're multiplying a lower total mult, then extra mult gets added after, and doesn't get the xMult bonuses, like x1.5 from your polychrome. Hope that helps ^-^

Spades = +4, ancient = *1.5, 8 * .5 = 4. Therefore ancient is better than spades as soon as your red number becomes 8.

If the game is too slow for you, you can go into the settings to increase the game speed. Also, on a side note, the majority of my knowledge on poker comes from Balatro, so I know way too much about it lol

The 3 hidden ones, 1. play 5 of the same card- ( Q Q Q Q Q) 2. 5 of the same card of the same suit ( Q(heart)x5) 3. Its.... like (Q)Heart x 3 (K)heart x 2 You have to play the hand first, then the cards will appear in the rotation.

So it does benefit to have muti of the same card.
