Hi Luke and Mike, Thank you so much for using our product and making this fantastic video showcasing it's abilities. As per usual the quality of the production and video is excellent and its a real pleasure seeing our products on this channel that we have been following for many years. On the video I think there would of been a lot of success if you went with a 1:10 mix on the alloys and allowed the product to dwell. Decon Shampoo through a foamer produces a bit of a dry foam and also the ratio used was weak for such bad alloys. As a wheel cleaner at 1:10 there isn't many aside from acid that would be as powerful. However with that said, the wheel likely needed acid or a strong Fallout remover to try and breakdown the bonded brake dust and putting. Once again thank you for the video, thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks, GT Team

Was our pleasure. A fun day of filming which is what it's all about. I've pinned your comment so more will see it and the reasoning why we may not have gotten the best out of it on wheels. I'll definitely be trying it again on wheels so I'll try your suggestions and see how I get on. Thanks again for your help in planning this video, it was invaluable and very gratefully received.

this & QD was the two products I chose for my own test of Garage Therapy. QD was/is awesome, but Decon Shampoo fits my unit business model like no other product. It's essential to have an ultra clean decontaminated vehicle before it comes inside...another plus it reduces time during the wash decon stage. Decon shampoo = game changer. Garage Therapy range sits firmly in my arsenal...you'll find many GT products are multi use and there's so much more to come from this brand. Great vid Luke & Mike👌

I remember first seeing Decon shampoo and thinking to myself that if it did do what it said then it would be a game changer. It was also refreshing to see, at the time, a new brand that was actually bringing something unique to the table for a change.
@TranquilityBaseDetailing3 жыл бұрын
I think the term game changer has become too easily used when talking about detailing products. However when it comes to this one it's fully warranted. I can already see other brands starting to try this type of product. GT will always be the innovator though and it will be incredibly tough to beat.

Hi , great video I enjoyed watching it but I'm struggling with the ratio that you used, 2% for the glass (10ml in 500ml ) isn't that the same used as the pre wash 50:1 ? Same ratio but different quantities. Any help on clearing this up for me would be brilliant thanks 👍
@TranquilityBaseDetailing3 жыл бұрын
Yes it's exactly the same bud. When researching this I spoke with Maz at Garage Therapy directly and took notes. My notes said 2% which I didn't even think to correct to 50:1 at the time but you are right they are the same thing.

Great video and a great product. One I keep in the cupboard as a strip wash. The ratio's of product for the bucket is a lot but I only use during decon or stripping LSP. use this with BH AF and megs wash plus and it goes nuclear!

can you use only one type of microfiber cloth?? we've got loads to choose from i've got three types just for for glass.

With the exception of glass, I use pretty much one type of towel for everything already. A short pile 300gsm. I can't remember the last time I used a plush towel, I find they always lint, no matter the "quality"
@mv20001003 жыл бұрын
@@Michael-wx4fj i have found the really plush ones are a bit grabby on wax and a bit patchy on spray products so tend to use as drying towels..prefer short pile for inside car work(i like the wowo ones just wish the colour would stop running lol).still think you should do a wax applicator comparison...(hide Luke's wowo's)

Great video, and a really interesting concept 👍👍. Kudos to GT for putting their product on the line for this and good to see their claims backed up. Realistically though, as you mentioned in the vid, no one is ever going to use just one product for an entire car-where's the fun in that? We need at least a dozen different bottles of magic juice to do it properly 😁.

Thank you. We believe /ZERO: Decon Shampoo is a process accelerator for precisely the reason why this video was done. We have a lot of professionals who now have removed several chemicals from their detailing studios or mobile vans and just carry Decon Shampoo because its hyper powerful and does everything very well if not class leading in some cases. So certainly from a detailers stand point it makes a lot of sense. From an enthusiasts standpoint there certain people who like the simplicity it brings. Whether that's cleaning door shuts well, tyre walls, door rubbers or as a prewash. Just take a look at people's love for certain APCs from a great famous brand. However it won't be all things to all people. Some people like multiple products. We just hope they consider our product for its merits. Glad you enjoyed the video. //GT

Well, you've gained a customer here, I'll be picking a bottle up with my next order of goodies 👍. I completely agree with you re. favourite brands, my APC of choice has always been Surfex HD, I've never used anything else so it'll be good to compare it against /ZERO in a pre-wash concentration. Thanks for the reply, always great to hear direct from a manufacturer 👍👍.
