Curryketchup isn't really used for Currywurst. For that a special sauce is prepared and it's poured over it warm. But for cheat currywurst at home you could use it.

Schnitzel is as German as Austrian. Only the dish "Wiener Schnitzel" is Austrian. Other dishes like "Jägerschnitzel" are German. And btw it's assumend the Schnitzel itself has it's origin in Italy.

uff uff uff uff.. if you order a Currywurst in Deutschland, and they serve you a Wurst with Curryketchup (Gewürzketchup as its called), its probably the last dish, that this establishement will ever serve. Its a part of the Currywurst-Kultur in germany, that every Currywurst-Seller made their own Ketchup, bzw Ketchup or Tomato based Sauce.. the only real Curry Part in a Currywurst is the Curry powder. But Gewürzketchup is hugh in Germany.. for everything.. exept Currywurst ;)
