First, I love Alec's mustache. He's a Gypsy, right? Then, relief that you are not responsible for maintaining the road. ...and lastly, YOU TWO ROCK! I know your move is alot, but the pressure to hurry because of cold weather makes it even harder. The stress you both have to be under has to be overwhelming. I am praying for God to take that pressure away and for you and all the animals safety . I wish I lived close to you to help you, but I don't. But my thoughts and prayers are with you. It's much easier if you take fence panels and make a chute behind the trailer. They'll walk into the chute where you close a gate behind them. Then you can be a bit more persuasive to get them in the trailer. It's easier if they're hungry.

I've seen so many You Tube videos showing that cows are simply unable to resist music and will crowd around anyone making music for them. AND I've heard Mathews delightful voice singing away. So why didn't he just stand in the back of the trailer and start singing to bring the steers in? (I think "Oh What a Beautiful Morning" from Oklahoma! would have been a nice choice!) 🐄🐄🐄😬😬😬

Roosts are supposed to be high up. They'll all go to the very top. The nest boxers are fine too. The poo is great for the garden once it ages. It will burn plants if it's fresh.
