Well, that was just Sad, Rob. I had a Great Score at an Estate Sale last weekend. Picked up 50+ Franklin Halves, 3 rolls of Washington Quarters, and a Couple Hundred Mercury and Rosy Dimes, almost 6 lbs of JUNK for 300 clams, SWEET ! ! !

I did a huge metal detecting expedition today for 5 hours and maybe you will like this news because it has to do with me finding a few silvers in the back yard! The first was a 1957 Washington quarter which had some friends with it, a 1952 nickel and a 1952 Denver wheat penny. Then I work my way over to the back left area and I got a 1937 mercury dime! I was not expecting to find any silver coins anywhere in my yard because my house was built in 1968, but the property is very large. A few relics later and I am back on it with the silver again and what do you know, a second 1957 quarter is starting right at me in the bottom of the 7 inch hole I dug to get this thing. Better luck on your next few dime boxes. One silver is always better than not finding any.

Went thru a case of nickels today. Nothing awesome, but got a 2009 and a 43P. Please keep up the great info. Massive amount, like 20-30 1964 plain's. Don't know why, but they are really abundant in my area.

I think you just need to put the scope closer to the coin and then refocus. I just got the same one as well, i don't believe there is a way to zoom other than actually moving the scope up and down. That being said, i've been known to be wrong from time to time.

yes, I believe at this price range you have to physically move the scope to zoom. I got a similar scope. To get software zoom, it's a lot more expensive scope.

We're on a brutal silver drought. 8 half dollar boxes searched with only one 1965, 4 quarter boxes and 3 dimes boxes with no silver whatsoever. Our last good box was early December.

Still found silver! Can't get mad at that! Hey Rob, just thought I would ask. As you mentioned in the video, CRH can be hard on the eyes. And I concur. What type of magnifying instrument would you recommend? A jeweler's glasses, or something else?

How often do you find silver dimes? The last two boxes I picked up I didn't have much luck on them!! I'm in Detroit Michigan area! Find a lot of Canada coins! Now wheat Pennies I find at least 15 plus per box! Last week I found a Indian Head 1885 it was in great condition ! 😆. That really made my day/week !! Keep up the great work and take care brother!
