Man this brings back so many great memories. And the fact that for the last few years I’ve wondered what happened to this truck. Thanks for sharing this.

Great video! My Dad's and Wally's families were neighbors growing up. I've known Wally since I was born abd actually live a couple miles from myself. I always thought Blue Max was the coolest pulling truck ever, and used to think I was so cool when we would visit with him in the shop and I would get to sit in it. I search from time to time to see if there are any videos of it and can never find much. I'm glad there is more of it out there now. A great interview with one if the nicest people you'll ever meet.

Wally is a great guy, there is a part 2 with him on my channel also in case you haven't see it. If you would like, send me a PM on Facebook and I can direct you to where all the other videos of the Blue Max are, most the time they're inside other videos, thanks for watching!

I always thought the Blue Max truck was sponsored by and part of Raymond Beadle’s Blue Max stable. Thanks for another great and informative video! Absolutely love watching these and reliving my childhood.

Wally was local to my home area. I saw him pull at the local fairgrounds a bunch of times. Fun fact I also worked on his farm machinery for the local implement dealership. I miss the Blue Max!

If your into late 80’s and 90’s pulling do you remember a truck called COAL TRAIN all ford power and truck from ohio? It was on espn once that i can find. That truck is from and still in my home town of wellston ohio. It was piloted by randy stewart and was a pretty successful rig.

Have you ever thought about going to find the Wildfire pulling truck. Was a very competitive for truck originally from Norfolk Nebraska I believe, last I knew the owner was in Missouri. Gary Seelin or something close to that was his name I believe. It was one of the most beautiful trucks I'd ever seen

@robguysgarage5422 1969 F250. 390 4 speed. Was a 300 six truck. Ripped that out and stuffed in that 390. In later years I learned it was police interceptor engine. The truck it self is pretty rough. Still runs and drives ok. I just don't seem to make time for it. I have my 3rd truck I ever owned still as well. 1980 gmc Sierra classic. I spent some money on that and re did it all. It sits in my garage. Take it out on special occasions and 🤷‍♂️
