Final opening of 2022. We still haven't gotten the Rayquaza VMAX Alternate Art Card. I was able to get 11 more COSTCO mini tins this week hoping to get that Rayquaza vmax alternate art card from Evolving Skies. There are a total of 54 packs of evolving skies and 56 packs of brilliant stars.

I've pulled each vmax alt art from an evolving skies pack except for Rayquaza after pulling sylveon vmax alt yesterday (which I ain't complaining about!!!)

btw: I would like to see your luck in 3-pack blisters Brilliant Stars. I've opened many during multiple livestreams, but pulled my Zard's alt art offstream :D I pack in the special box some of BS boosters from the sealed case of 3-pack blisters for the future, but got already 2 alt arts from that case already. So for me, no more BBs (cause I've opened 5 and got 0 alt arts), just 3-pack blisters only :)))

Ya this was more in line with what we were seeing from these packs. Lots of hits, even pulled Charizard rainbow, but ultimately that was the only huge card from 12 sets of these tins for us. Now I'm keeping some sealed for some other chump. ;)

Why hate on gold cards? Funky artworks are so commonplace now that I honestly think rainbow and gold cards will out-do them long-term. Scarlet and violet is going to be so congested with "unique arts" that the most special looking cards will be rainbow ad gold textured cards. It was a face guard, so there is that. But, in 25 years when people open up a "vintage" sword and shield pack... you think they are going to think a gold or rainbow card is a miss? Obviously some alt arts are wild and rare... but just saying.. don't sleep on gold and rainbow cards. Kids love them... and that's who will enter the buying market when modern turns vintage. My niece's need to be told a full art or alt art is unique when tey pull one (granted, they are 5-8 years old)... but nobody needs to ask if a rainbow or gold card are a hit, because it's obvious. Even people not in the hobby can see that golds and rainbows are unique.

Thats very possible. Some gold cards I definitely do like! Like the snorlax once from Chilling reign but the dislike for gold cards on my channel started when I opened like 40 sleeved packs of evo skies and pulled gold cresselia twice XD so it initially started as a joke but never really liked them too much after that. If there is a gold variant of a pokemon I enjoy, Ill probably have the opposite reaction! Rainbow cards, I am kinda on the fence, I don't hate them but I don't find them tooo appealing either. And I agree with you on scarlet and violet, the newer sets have a ridiculous amount of amazing artworks, and i think the future chase cards might end up being the gold variant hyper rares with 3 stars!
