Good to see some older boats getting a little love. Floors are not as fun as they seem, but great when they are done.
@nathanmcolton Жыл бұрын
I've done a few floors myself. Old bowriders, even with rotten floors, can be a good value. You got a pretty good deal on this one and the floor looks great. Nice work.

Nice transformation. I would have suggested sealing the underside of the plywood, because it can rot from the bottom up (it happened to me) and fabricating a ski locker door, but I realize you're just trying to get it on the water, and at least it's not headed to the land fill.
@CocosPlayound Жыл бұрын
Yea I prolly should have. Ski locker on the other hand I didn’t have the trim ring n all plus our last boat we never used it at all. It’s there if we decide to do it it can always be cut out. Depends on how much we like the boat will depend on that and all the other stuff. I was thinking maybe that pvc flooring next time

Im doing a 26 crownline bowrider with a bravo 1 and 454 , Just q question , WHY DOES EVERYONE not clean the bloody boat before starting work , is it for the KZbin vids ? Even before I started the motor I washed 5 years of shit off the boat so I can clean the fibreglass dust from everywhere ? Great vid mate , Rob NSW Australia
@CocosPlayoundАй бұрын
May have something to do with it, but really and honestly only did it because I was making sure that I could actually fix the boat before cleaning it and making it look nice. I was just going to get it dirty again with fiberglass dust.
@goldenliver0233 ай бұрын
What kind of resin and fiber glass did you use?

Just the stuff that you can get from AutoZone, but I hear total boat is the best

Can you start it with out a key?
@CocosPlayound4 ай бұрын
You can take the prongs off the ignition switch and get a new key and ignition switch shouldn’t be hard to find. In the meantime, you can look up what wires go to and touch the wires together.
