I love this channel because the only drama involves, a blown hydraulic line, gasket head, or fraid tow strap! All easy to fix, and all enjoyable to watch! Just like this Excavator repair!

Not only have I learned a lot about engines etc., I have enjoyed spending time watching your team problem solve and work closely together. It is so refreshing to not hear any foul language, politics or other forms of negativity. Just good people helping others and enjoying life. Production values of the videos are awesome as well. Thanks for sharing these great stories.

Honestly that's more than most people get, some say people die multiple deaths the last one is their name is spoken for the last time and with this video and your comment his name lives on. Rest in peace Van, much love and respect to your loved ones,

Could you build a genset that has a hydraulic pump on it and bypass the motor and pump in equipment? Run 25 feet of hydraulic hose and either piggyback it right on the equipment or locate it close and run the lines? It could be used to run any hydraulic system, at the shop or remote. Just a thought
@jttech44
@jttech44 3 ай бұрын
Sure, but, hoses and fittings for this kinda stuff aren't cheap. You'd also have to adapt it in the field, which can be a giant pain. That is a known thing that exists, not for equipment rescue, just portapack stuff for jacks and whatnot. Works well.

Hey Dave I love your stuff and your one of my favorite KZbinrs. I think you might be able to help out another of my favorite Tubers with a project. Matt Carriker from DemoRanch has a second channel named Matt Carriker where he has bought an abandoned ranch in Bernny Texas. He gas a bunch of caves on the property and has been digging out one that was filled in back in the 1930s for the last month. He is at a point of more than 20 feet below the surface and his equipment is maxed out. I thought you might be able to help him out. Keep up the great videos and work you do.

We used to run a Sullair 750 diesel air compressor for our shop air. One time, one of my operators said the oil was showing a little low, so he put a quart of oil in it. I said '(name redacted)' this thing holds six Gallons of oil, if it's low, we put in a Gallon '. I love the sound of that 6V71 when you open the service valve and it takes off from idle to 100 percent in a few seconds.

Glad to hear from someone who has used it! My perspective is that I gotta spend the money first, so it's not "free money" per se. And, there's the added steps of remembering I have the app, find a spot that has what I'm looking for in the app, and I would want to make sure I'm getting a good deal. I can barely remember to get gas when I'm running low, let alone have the time to stop my travel to look at the app for where around me has gas at a good price. Have you found it to be worth the added steps? I'm wondering if the hassle is a substantial enough net gain.
