Ice with only 1 beam is kinda rough. You need the splash damage of lightning for it. That being said, with the boss going that fast ice was 100% necessary to survive

Sulfurstorm and Plasma are the best dps options paired with falling stars that can map clear you have basically beat the game on any endless run

Best strat IMO is to focus on one skill early then around the midgame start focusing on one to two others. You get a better bang for your buck that way.

Toonz talking trash about the mine spell is wild. It's one of the best spells in the game (imo), especially if you use it for healing. Without any upgrades it heals more than a legendary regeneration upgrade, and the healing improves over time with damage / spell cooldown upgrades. One warning with healing spells is that the recipient of your healing IS affected by the element infusions. I found this out the hard way, accidentally killing the guy I was trying to heal by freezing him and getting him swarmed. The fire damage from a flame infused healing spell ALSO turns into healing though, so if you plan on using a spell to heal fire / wildfire is the best infusion.

This is such an awesome game. Just fyi, Aether Beam is actually kinda weak overall. Falling Stars, Rune Burst, Astral Orbs all scale way harder. I've beat everything solo at this point and unlocked almost all of the costumes/upgrades. Super fun and addictive.

It's because he also had the upgrade that makes it target the highest hp target which completely counters the healing beam cause it'll almost 100% be targeting monsters 🤦‍♂️

You guys don't have nearly enough survivability. Delirious thinking 1000 health was a lot tells me that. I would suggest they max out health and movement speed Enchantments, the latter of which Kyle has 0 in, and then prioritize health, move speed, and dodge in game. There's diminishing returns on armor after you get over 100 I find, so just get one of the armor relics and you should be set

Or they could do the "Mine + Healing Strat" If you stand in the mines blast radius it will heal you and your team mates the only hard part is... getting the augments to spawn, if it in bursts its even better

cooldown doesn't do anything for the beem since it is consistently firing

False. While it looks like a constant stream of damage visually, the reality is that it still does X damage each second. Improving the cooldown will make it do that damage faster. Like X damage per 0.75 seconds. You can see this from the increasing rate of the damage numbers and also the icon at the bottom that shows the cooldown finishing faster. Compare this at the start of a run to the end of the run and you will see just how much faster the beam does damage.
