1) It's ER -> Shojin -> crit items atm. 2) Tank build is being gutted next patch. It'll be AD or AP after that. Bright side, Shojin is an AD item.

do you think smolder is a good champion and why? do you think the changes he’s getting next patch will make him too strong?

Smolder right now is weak-strong-and then weak again since his % health true damgae doesn't scale. The execute scales but it doesn't matter if smolder can't do enough damage to get them low enough. By the time late game comes around smolder has a really hard time 1v1ing anyone. Either they run away or if they get close enough smolder loses. You can see how from minute 25-30 his damage really fell off and it took a lot of repeated Q's just to get anyone low enough to kill. The new changes to smolder will allow his % true damage to go higher than 6.5 even with tank items into the late game. So he will become a true scaling late game champ. Right now he's a "Pseudo" scaler. He does technically scale but he has pathetic autos and the damage on W and E don't exist so he kind of gets out scaled past 30 minutes. Very easy to lose fights as smolder if he gets caught even a little bit and he's no longer doing AOE.

imo he's very very strong atm, but I think he is a bit better adc than mid. Next patch changes I think will make it harder to build tank, so he might be a bit more of a greedy pick mid and maybe he just becomes a bot laner

My last season Azir guide is pretty up to date, only difference really is that fleet/conq/grasp are the go to runes atm and you just rush straight nashors nowadays (unless you're playing a tank build)
