Good man; good candidate. Would be a massive upgrade for NYC. New Yorkers would be fortunate to have Whitney as mayor. When I think about the Democrats most able to move on from recent failures, two that seem thoughtful include Whitney Tilson and Ritchie Torres. Among the Democrats, they'd be an optimal combo of mayor and governor. I'm far from a Democrat but can recognize people trying to make things better.
