Yay, another bright winter video! I find that filling in my brows and blotting on a gloss or lipstick does wonders. It seems to brighten my eyes.

I do feel like as a winter it's easier to look sick or tired without that added color/shine. If the skin is not perfectly smooth (blemishes, redness, dark circles etc.), it looks less bright and more "blended" or just patchy, so it feels like a bigger issue to us in comparison to the other seasons. Once I discovered the tinted/sheer makeup options (usually lips and cheeks because those are the easiest) I barely can't go without at least one of them!

@@LittleartcottageMy favorite right now is Revlon Kiss tinted lip balm. It’s very inexpensive, but it has a really nice sheer amount of color and looks great on its own.

Yes, I totally agree. I find that the only time I’m really happy with my appearance without makeup is when I have one of my best colors on near my face. If it’s not quite the right color as a winter it’s really obvious on us since color and contrast are important to echo our natural depth. Also as a bright winter, if I wear only black, I really feel that I need at least a little color on my face to don’t get dragged down and shadowy. Tinted/sheer makeup is such a good option for us though!

Green color corrector is your friend. If you have some redness, it will bring it down and might even brighten up your face by a tone of two

I am a bright winter and black eyeliner makes the highest difference for me. Lipstick too but the eyeliner brings me together

I agree, personally-- If I'm doing a 5 minute makeup look, I'm definitely doing eyeliner, mascara, and a tinted lip balm of sorts. Definition looks great on us.

Is there any neutral makeup that works for bright winter?

@@flaggov6949 yes of course- I use a lot of the bright winter neutrals for my eyeshadow. Also with eyeliner we can use black or charcoal. The problem with neutrals is mainly in the areas that we expect to see color on a person like lips and cheeks. A bright winter won’t look so good with a toned down cheek or lip color. We need at least a sheer hint of bright color to really look our most natural in makeup. My basic makeup look is a thin winged black eyeliner, black mascara, a sheer layer of bright cream blush, and a bright tinted lip balm, and sometimes I’ll use a shiny highlight lightly on my cheekbones, corners of my eyes, tip of my nose, and bridge of my nose.

Hard to tell just from pictures. She definitely suits winter well and my instinct says true winter. But she does wear all black very well so it is possible she is dark winter.
