I made $40k last year and I only started in February. I did doordash only until March, so instacart and dd until September, and spark got added in there toward the end. I’m in grad school and during my internship I only got to work limited hours. Not only can you make money, you can do it flexibly and still pay the bills👍

You can. I know guys here in LA making 100k a year. I personally make 65k a year on Instacart alone. It's a job. Treat it like one and it will take care of you.

It doesn't take care of you , you are taking care of yourself and customers are taking care of you with tips . The apps themselves will not give you benefits or even really count towards work history for some employers . You are not valued by the companies that run the apps. You can make a living working the apps with the right market and right motivation and self discipline. If anything doing gig work full time is an option to keep income coming in if you need to switch careers or are searching for another job.

@@a1dayones80 Good for you. I do instacart and then split my time doing private delivery. I do seven to nine hours a day on average. I should make about $70,000. I live very comfortably in Los Angeles doing it. I have a very small and modest condo. Instacart has very much so taken care of me.

you can def make a living if you are displined. I paid off my house and car with instacart and other apps but mainly instacart and shipt. you can make 1000 - 2000 a week if you multiapp or live in a real good market

You can take the tax deduction for mileage at the end of the year or maintenance oil changes and gas etc but not both. The mileage deduction is usually the best route. Look into paying quarterly taxes so you don't get nailed at the end of the year too.

Thank you for your Service. May God bless you. Many Seniors are not able to drive anymore. You help a lot. Many single Parents are needed to work extra days. It helps them to have groceries delivered. They can do laundry while getting groceries delivered. The kids want to be home after a week in daycare and school.

not unless you are 10+ hr a day diehard. at some point, you are burning more resource and your own mental state. there's a feeling of diminished return to me the gigs are only about making it enough for you to survive til the next day. there's no sustainable longterm to this. not a terrible life (too many! do it) but should you remain in it - you already know your limitations and already acknowledged them.

@@aphidcart well you mentioned instacart so I don’t know how much effort goes into instacart, but I am currently doing Grubhub and my minimum per mile including tips is $2 per miles but I am just picking up from point A and drive and drop point B. My only problem is that sometimes I have to wait for the call. But sometimes times I don’t wait much Grubhub just keep sending you orders. It’s important the effort vs time that goes into these gigs. But just like you I might want to look for a more potential idea to generate income 🤔
