Thanks for another informative video, Adam. This time I felt the numbers are closer to what I experienced. Thank you!! Two funny (naughty) things I noticed though made me lol: 1. When you mentioned rent is $2700 average and you showed a scene of a penthouse apartment on a high rise in Downtown; Man, that was so deceptive 😜 2. And your hand gestures pointing to something were so funny at 6:04 when you said "Contact Info below the video" 😎😝

I just didn't have footage of a normal apartment at the time, don't mean to trick anyone with footage !! 😅 Happy to share !

@@AdamJBellRealEstate I can understand buddy. But actually I would call that a witty direction. A scene that creates desires in the audience. Nicely done!

This covers renting - Can you make a video with how much the cost of living would be if a person was buying a house? (Mortgages after different options of downpayment + maintenance + property tax + anything else )

Does the rent include utilities? How much is water, heating, cooking gas, and electricity?
@AdamJBellRealEstate Жыл бұрын
As reference my 2 bedroom apartment costs us around $50/ month or so. Sometimes a bit higher, sometimes lower :)

water: included in rent. Cooking is electric mostly, heating also on new buildings. for a 500sqt apt I'd say around 20$ during summer and 50$ during winter for electricity (cooking+heating included)

Awesome video as always man!! when you say 80k a year, we can expect something around 5k net per month after tax, right? That's what you meant? in North America people always mention yearly income and after tax things can change a lot, so I'm confused...
@AdamJBellRealEstate Жыл бұрын
You've got the number correct. I know things get complicated when you take in taxes, but yes 5k net is about right. Also depends how you do your taxes and other details like if you are self employed, it can be more or less depending again, on how you do your taxes :)

Hey Adam, thank you for your great and very informative videos. What about living with a family? How much do we need?
@AdamJBellRealEstate Жыл бұрын
I'd say you can double the food bill and other bills that are needed per person, for example if you all need phones, then that is more phone bills, so multiply that bill by 2 or 3 for example. But some expenses won't cost more like rent (unless you need a larger home, then rent will cost more of course), won't need to pay for more wifi either, as it is just one. So using some of the numbers in this video, multiply them by how many family members you have :) should give you a good ball park number! 🙏
