Apologies for the sound quality. I will invest in a new microphone for the next video. How do you like this new format? I guess you can just mute it if you don't like my voice.

My wife and I enjoy your quizzes: Thank you. However - Question 19: Tim Berners-Lee DID NOT invent the Internet. He developed the World Wide Web using HTML while working at CERN.
@Quizzes4U2 жыл бұрын
Hi. Yes you are right, that should have been worded better. I have corrected that question in a later quiz. Thank you for watching my quizzes😀

As David Cole says .. Tim Berners-Lee developed the World Wide Web (WWW) he didn't actually ''invent the internet''. Another good quiz from Quizzes4U though.

Question 32, a potato is a root.
@Quizzes4U2 жыл бұрын
Nope, it's a modified stem called a tuber.
@aerofd2 жыл бұрын
@@Quizzes4U The potato is a starchy tuber of the plant Solanum tuberosum and is a root vegetable native to the Americas. The plant is a perennial in the nightshade family Solanaceae. Wild potato species can be found from the southern United States to southern Chile.
@Quizzes4U2 жыл бұрын
@@aerofd You are mixing up potato (the part we eat) and potato plant. The question specifically asks" which part of the plant is a potato?" The thing we eat that is called a potato is actually part of the stem, called a tuber. We don't eat the roots. The question did not ask what type of plant is a potato plant. The answer to the question is correct.

@@Quizzes4U No I not confusing it but the idea of a stem that grows underground is just a little strange. But that is what the botanist say.
@martinscott-reed53792 жыл бұрын
@@aerofd You are very confused and as such you are wrong. In actual fact they are a type of “modified stem” known as a tuber. These are compacted, swollen stems which are produced underground and remain there when the “parent plant” (the old plant that produced this year’s crop) has died down. They are most definitely not a root vegetable. For someone questioning a quiz answer one would have though you would at least research before making statements.
