Can you beat CROSSROADS without MAGIC BAR? (Mission 19) - Stronghold Crusader Extreme

Damn it's more laggy than I thought, I'm sorry for uploading this but I didn't want to redo the mission. Apparently my PC can't handle recording Stronghold Crusader Extreme anymore, or maybe my recorder sucks idk

Something from personal experience to everyone who is reading this. You can finish crusader’s skirmishes fully without using the magic bar and win it like strong hold crusader 1, it tales some patience and deft fingers but it’s doable.

I mean this is proof right? lol Some of the missions are insane though, I think this one was slightly easier because of the starting gold But mission 12 and mission 20 might be a lot harder because the starting gold is too low

You can kill red to the south with your starting knights as soon as you spawn. And if you wait too long black will have 3000+ troops with thick waves of slaves, ended up building square towers the whole way round and could barely hold them off to form an attack. Used houses as bait for the knights and mounted archers.

Well for now I barely managed to do this one! I even turned off the empowered arabian swordsman (Wasn't necessary though but I was really struggling) I'm not sure how much harder it gets with improved AIV, AIC

Try it without magic bar or siege or shields. I did it, took 2 hours to win. Was a real nightmare, took over 3 days of failing.

the best way to win in trial crossroad is to eliminate gates & make defenses with maze & fire throwers... and 3 automatic barracks around nizar can be destroyed with 1 catapult from inside the fort

One question, if you didn't have any production buildings, why didn't you use positive fear factor? Wouldn't the troop combat bonus make this a bit easier?

I forgot to get it tbh, on my previous attempts I had max fear factor. This last attempt I just wanted to see how it goes and decide whether or not I wanna keep doing it, and I suddenly won the game lol

The entire game picture is visible, and unless you're seeing something I don't? I don't really see anywhere with a cut so tremendous that he could have popped off into a corner and twirled his mustache while using magic and giggling over fooling people. Nor does his usual content suggest he'd actually need to do that. If you'd like to back up your claims in any way, shape or form? @@FF009A the magic bar is visible in some of his footage, but in the most it's not on the screen at all... maybe you should try watching the entire video and paying attention, because the magic bar is def not in the video frame at all times, especially not when he beats it(you asked for time stamps, watch from 2:00 to the end and give me timestamps when the bar IS ON THE SCREEN.. because as far as I can see it's never on the screen after that mark).. and since the bar is at the corner of the game screen it's very easy to just crop it off. It was cropped off so we cant see it filling up due to it being used recently and also the gameplay video is not complete, obviously he cut most footage out to keep the video short, but that can be conviniently used to cheat... use the bar and just not include the moments when it was used in the video... Also I am not really buying the corrupt video excuse, especially since none of his other videos got corrupted... just this challenge that's really hard and nearly impossible to win. Of course I might be wrong and he did his challenge legit, but with a video like as it is now, intentionally or not, there is just no way to confirm he beat his challenge, If he did infact not cheat, he can prove me wrong by posting the entire gameplay uncut and with the bar in view at all times.

Some of them are fun, some of them are hellish nightmares. Generally, if you have enough money and a nice position it gets fun, if you live on the last dime and some sucker shoots your castle with tower mangonels and you constantly have to patch your walls and shit it is just annoying.

7:56, 11:20 As you saw your catapults were killing your units because you were trying to shoot across the hill, however catapults aren't trebuches and can't throw rocks over hills 100% of the time(Only saying this because I saw you do it a few times). Otherwise, you did what I probably can't so I won't say much, well done! :D

Yeah the first time it happened I was a bit distracted and I was wondering what happened to all my catapults (Thought I lost them to ranged attacks or something) But then the second time I realized catapults are doing friendly fire.. it was a little too late lmao

Get sabotage nizar from begining using europe swordmen in first you play and help the defense with archer to get nizar down, nizar is first and caliph second to lose... After all u can play as usual even not use extreme bar

What I did first is kill Caliph and Nizar. While doing that, I destroyed one of my gates. Put 4 towers, filled them with cross bow men, archers and fire throwers. Fire throwers are really efficient in killing, only drawback is the range but when paired with range units (archers, crossbowme) for defence wifh shields, your castle becomes invincible. And made around 10 knights to destroy any catapults. And then slowly destroyed all the outposts and seiged the enemies. I completed the whole game without using the magic bar. I didn't know it existed until I saw a video where rocks magically fell from the top.

I beat this mission easily by destroying the original towers and replacing them with square towers (plus extra ones) all around the base and then filling these with crossbow men and Arabian archers and ballistas. I also build as many stone quarry and iron mines as I could for unlimited gold. And rushed the southern enemy with my starter troops for a good bonus and because he is the closest. After that, just buy 30-50 knights and ride around the map destroying the outposts. Then kill top right guy first, then bottom left etc etc.

I destroyed my gatehouse to make the units run towards my lord instead of digging moat and attacking me everywhere Also because I kill Caliph early on I get most of his gold, and that's how I have a huge amount of gold. Also on my previous attempts I kept running out of gold, and as you can see at the end I was almost out of gold here too so I had to win the game with the final army I had
