@@redfoxrpg speaking of interesting, I have a interesting concept. Revolver Ocelot lacks cyberware and uses one specific weapon... after getting robbed by big boss. But you've already done a no cyberware run, using just pistols is feasible, and I wouldn't be surprised if you've done a revolver only run. But what if you combine two characters for a challenge run? Popular Metal Gear Revolver Ocelot with other popular Metal Gear character Gray fox. Both use range Weaponry but one is limited, one is a cyborg and the other is a dude with an arm transplant, one doesn't do melee and the other is primarily melee and has a habit of using a sword. Sorry that this is long. But the two complement each other well, the fleshy weakness of the human body is eliminated by heavy cyberware, the weapon restrictions are not going to necessarily conflict. One uses primarily melee with typically their bare hands or a sword unlimited range use, but the other has a specific range weapon preference. And there's no one defining character trait which would transfer over to cyberpunk 2077 that would directly interfere with either character . But Revolver Ocelot has a weapon preference, and RoboCop has two weapons that they use. Which would conflict weapon wise. Cyberware wise and weapon wise Jetstream Sam and Raiden would conflict on basis of cyberware, behavior, and arguably weaponry. One uses just a sword with martial arts, the other uses mainly a sword with assistance of sub weapons hyphen with a history of gun use. Even though physically in terms of performance Sam being on par with the other could be an argument for additional cyberware, and there are probably many Metal Gear Rising Revengeance playthroughs where people use the sword as their only weapon But maybe I'm stupid, this combination would kind of just be gray fox with a revolver

I thought of so many things a runner might not get right, but you got everything. Including the "not going against OCP orders" and "no running, cover, crouching, etc) And considering Murphy becomes RoboCop during the movie and doesn't start in that form, I'd consider the heist to be an undercover mission that goes wrong, and is partially responsible for him needing all the cyberware. Everything up to that point being as normal Alex Murphy. The moment Vic fixes you up and you have access to the open world, you are RoboCop.

I had a really weird idea for a run watching this: Candyman. The game already associates the supernatural with hacking and cyberspace. And the game always has the theme of "Becoming a legend" running in the background, like how Candyman deals with achieving immortality by becoming a myth. I figure it would probably revolve around stealth, hacking, and melee (not sure if the game has any hooks you can wield). Candyman wants revenge, justice, and immortality and is willing to be pretty nasty to get all of those things. Coul be good as a very dark antihero.

Many people, with different ways to do things, some mause/keyboard, some controller, some on PC, some on console. Some more open to add mods to fit the run, some more vanilla focused. Some use more gear restrictions, others go deeper into roleplaying the character.

Hmmm would a Gordon Freeman run be on brand? Lots of weapon choice and you get crafting so more 'thematic' iconics are better dps than usual for the effect to get them in a run. Less of a cyberware build outside of anything that could be 'reasonably linked' to stuff his Hazard Suit does, like self-heal, armor, elemental protection, administer stimulents (berserk because he's famous for mass crowbar slaughter), maybe guerilla arms because he can casually throw around crates and barrels? There's a lot of potential for something different from this imo, even if it takes a few years you'll still be before Half-life 3 Always keeping your 'best' gun for it's corresponding slot would be a challenge. 1 pistol, blunt melee (obv the crowbar has the drip) , smg, crossbow, shotgun, rifle, etc... Freeman certainly kept his arsenal varied so you can do weapon swaps for whatever works best in each encounter. Bright obnoxious orange outfit or slap him in a 'toxic waste disposal' suit.

@redfoxrpg The Auto-9 is a select fire pistol that's depicted as being fired typically in three round burst and fully automatic just like the Yukimura. It's even a corpo-made gun (though they all are, lol). You could argue that Robo is only using full auto in the films since, especially in the first one, he often shoots anywhere from one to four shots in quick succession. Both the Yukimura and Kappa are valid choices though, the latter especially gets points for having the Crimestopper iconic. I mentioned O'Five since it sorta fits the visual profile and functionality a bit better than the Osprey in my eyes, but that's just me.
