Shame you didn’t pick up the highlander axe, it boosts roar ashes of war. Easy pick up in Stormveil castle, and using it with beast’s roar is actually pretty effective. The talisman for boosting roars also works with it.

The roar medallion also works on the roars that buff your dmg output like from the iron balls or club. would've been legal to use in this run and increased dmg.

@@mathieuxlaflamme2322 If you use the AoW, your character just screams and get the buff (which is affected by the talisman). No attack needed. One of those bumps up your AR by 15% or so

What he trully meant was that the highlander axe as a passive on it (not the AoW) that boost shout. So just having it equip boost the power of shout.

Yeah I discovered the Beats Roar's effectiveness by accident while trying out a dual whip build, because whips are so limited in their choice of Ashes of War I tried out a few and found it to be surprisingly good, even for PVP because it comes out so quick and travels surprisingly far that invaders never expect it, especially if they are casting of doing their own ahs of war with a long windup for a melee hit

I feel like you didn't know that the Highlander Axe in stormveil gives you the roar talisman effect as well for about 10% extra damage, that would have probably made it a little easier. Makes it even more impressive of course so good on you mate.
