People explain the Lighthouse step on Call of the Dead that way because that is a method that is 100% guaranteed to work no matter what the dials start as. What you actually have to do is set the dials to 2 - 7 - 4 - 6, but the trick is that each dial also turns the dial above and below it at the same time i.e turning the orange dial also turns the yellow and blue dials. That's why you count how many times you would have to turn a dial to set it to a certain number and then turn another dial that many times.

For der eisendrache, if you put the game on non-ranked, it will require all 4 bows to be built no matter how many people there are. If it’s set to ranked, it will only require a bow per person

To prevent losing the summoning key when you go through the portals, melee with the key just before entering. I think it causes the game to be forced to acknowledge the summoning key’s existence in your characters hands

Pro tip, you don’t have to kill thrashers in the boss fight. It’s just time based. Also, there isn’t any way to get the artillery shell guaranteed. Just use blue water with the kt4/masamune every round and there is a decent chance you’ll get it. The masamune does give you higher odds though

Fun fact about buried a random Reddit post told me that the order of the switches is determined by the color of the inside of the candies on the right side of the desk in the candy shop. Tried it loads of times and it always holds true. Pretty crazy that something like that exists and no tutorial has ever know it

I love the CotD dial step. But I love math. It's really very simple, the dials turn themselves and the dials above and below them. So what you want is to get the dials in position. You want the bottom dial in position so that when you turn the dial above it to it's correct position it turns the bottom dial to the correct position, but when you turn the dial above it, it will turn the second to last dial too, so really the position of the second dial you want is how far away the third dial is from completion, but then there's the top dial that'll get messed up too, it's so much to think about if you're not just following a calculator and it's fun for me at least.

33:10 about the keeper step, for some reason if your game is in unranked, the keeper will ask for all 4 bows. If your game is in ranked however, you will only have to do the bows you have (unless you have already started the quest for another bow)

My cousin and I are going back through all of the Aether zombies maps in order and I remembered TranZit being fun with friends despite its flaws just as you said, but after the actual pain and suffering that is the Maxis side of the TranZit Easter egg with 2 players I can confidently say that it is the worst map of all time like holy shit it was so awful and all that map was designed for was to make you want to gouge your eyes out. I’m not looking forward to the Richtofen side of the super EE later on.
