I was playing New Vegas recently and got banned from all the Casino’s. And when you get banned the manager runs up to you and tells you you can’t play anymore. When you are trying to abuse game mechanics like this or are going for 100% in one playthrough it can be a nuisance, but I do think it makes sense for role-playing purposes. Heroic characters won't want to hang out with scumbags. The only way it's really different than F4's companion system is that your companions already know ahead of time if you are someone they can get along with.

I kinda like it: A perfect (If destructive) saint isn't going to be a big fan of Jericho or Clover, and a wanna-be Negaduck isn't gonna enjoy being around Cross or Fawkes. It helps them feel like people, as opposed to Skyrim, where most companions will join you regardless of what you do.

As a matter of fact I believe removing the karma requirement for companions is one of the most downloaded mods on nexus. They could have made it part of the role playing but it simply isn't. Your karma is no less intuitive than your average fable decision. Did I steal? Steal=Bad. Did I give water to homeless man? Give water=good. A 5 year old wouldn't find nuance in those choices.

Can you beat fallout new vegas, using only guns, but you can only use ammo that you crafted yourself at a reloading bench? You can use any firearm that consumes ammo, no melee, no looting or buying ammo, just ammo parts, such as primer and gunpowder, etc. also can’t lie this has gotta be one of my favorite runs of yours so far, you do amazing work

I don't know if it counts as a full "Can You Beat.." challenge, but I do have an idea for a Fallout 4 video that comes to mind. Play normally until you rescue Preston and the group at Concord. Preston starts giving you quests to help settlements. Instead of helping them, head out and just murder everybody there before activating the Workbench. (If it lets you, I don't know.) Return to Preston and let him know that there was nothing you could do, everybody there has died. Does he just give you the next settlement quest, completely clueless that he's sending you out to butcher settlements? Does he ever catch on that YOU are the reason all these settlements are dying? Do you still get to complete the Minutemen ending in the game? I believe the Minutemen were meant to be the Yes Man equivalent for Fallout 4, giving you a way to complete the game if you make enemies with literally every other faction, but does the game take doing something like this into account?

I once watched an out of bounds video and it showed how they programmed the memorial area, everyone that shows up there gets spawned based on your level the first time you enter including the enclave but are kept in the void to be teleported in when the story calls for it

Can you beat Fallout New Vegas Hardmode while eating/drinking/resting when your character does? You'd take tiny bites of whatever food equivalent your character eats (Mash potatoes for instamash, chips for junk food, etc.). Take a shot of what ever your character drinks (take a shot whisky when you drink whisky, water when you drink water etc.). Instead of actually sleeping, you take a break for 1 minute per hour your character sleeps.

I’ve had Dogmeat just sprint off before after traveling back to Scrapyard unable to catch up and follow him (having to reload my save which fixed it). Jericho had the same “stuck in place” issue but reloading a save strangely didn’t fix the issue, although thankfully he magically teleported and regrouped after entering the Metro tunnels. Not really sure that’s what “fixed” it tho since I tried fast-traveling and that didn’t fix it before.

Third time asking please see this lord and saviour Nerbit: “Can you beat fallout 4 as Jacket?” Basically, you play as jacket from hotline Miami. -It’s an armour restricted run as you can only use letterman jacket outfits and animal masks (such as the bear mascot head from D.B. Technical High School). -No power armour. -You can use whatever weapons you want, melee or ranged. No restrictions. -Given that Jacket had a military background, probably makes sense to side with the brotherhood of steel. -given that jacket is literally a sociopath, the most aggressive option in any given situation should be your go to method. -while you have no restrictions on weapons, you can’t have any outside of combat. You must start every combat encounter without any weapons or ammo in your inventory and you must be unarmed. Any weapons or ammo you pick up during the combat encounter must be dropped afterwards. -since jacket doesn’t talk whatsoever in the hotline Miami games, charisma must always be at 1 and you can’t choose any dialogue options that require charisma skill checks. I’m a fan of hotline Miami so I’d love to see you try this run.

Can you beat New vegas as agent 47 . Rules : you can only use faction disquises ,Silenced guns and holdout melee / unarmed weapons . I suggest going for a Legion run . Easy mode you can store unlimited faction disquises( so you can have Ncr and Bos uniform). Hard mode you can only have disquises of one faction at all time. So if you want to get bos armor you gotta get rid of your ncr uniform.
