On my first playthrough I ended up wandering into scorpion gulch at a low level. Surrounded by rad scorpions i was on a rock picking away at them trying not to die. This is when Easy Pete just randomly appears out of nowhere and starts blasting. He killed them all and wandered away into the sunset. It was such a random event but Petes been a fave of mine ever since.

One of the biggest reasons I have always loved Elder Scrolls Oblivion, and Fallout New Vegas was the random stuff that happens. Newer games like Fallout 4 and Skyrim are fun, but they never seem to have those NPC moments where you are just like, "what was he even doing here?". Those moments are why I can never forget these two games.

Fun fact, the reason the age slider doesn't let you go old like Easy Pete is because the elderly in Fallout 3/NV are technically separate 'races'. There are mods that add them to the race list to let you play as an old person.

Can you beat Skyrim as Sheogorath? The order in which you go places is randomized, and a random selection of places (aside from story requirements and solstheim) are off limits. A 'place' is defined by the icon on the map. Your adventure is determined by utter madness. And of course, you have to get The Wabbajack first.

Easiest Peter, easy petes son. Abandoned in a dynamite Box at birth tracks down his father for revenge. Every time he sees dynamite being used, he goes into a blind rage ending all in his path. After destroying the legate, he later begins to realise his plans of destroying the entirety of the mojave with dynamite. Some say he is still placing sticks of dynamite to this day

Day 2 of asking: Can you beat New Vegas as Alex Mason? Rules: Can only wear the Merc Grunt Outfit as soon as it’s available (or just spawn it in with console commands, I don’t really care), can only use the M1911, Browning Hi-Power, and M16A1. (.45 Auto Pistol, 9mm Pistol, Service Rifle, and yes, I know the Service Rifle is loosely based on the AR15 and 10 respectively, but it doesn’t really matter, they look close enough.) If you feel that the Assault Carbine is close enough to an M16A2, so be it. But I’m pretty sure it looks more like the carbine variant of the M4A1.
