My thoughts? Any outfit they give you for free is fair game. There will always be more free outfits down the road, so any event stuff is fine. I feel this challenge will take a WHILE, but I believe in you! And I do think that this challenge can be completed! While we've only really invested a lot into the higher-tier outfits, it's more than likely that with patience, you CAN actually complete the game's story so far with what they give you. There will be a LOT of scouring for more outfits, though. So many outfits.

From my experience with gacha games, I’m very certain this game is beatable without any pulls at all whatsoever (at least of of 1.1) since it has multiple sketches the player can craft and they are all upgradable. Yep, 4 stars maxed-out outfits aren’t going to score as high as 5 stars maxed-out outfits, especially in Miracrown. Not to mention we have no idea what the style battle is going to be like in 2.0. Maybe at the very least permanent gacha is a okay to pull from for 5 stars outfit if the player is f2p. But I doubt that the devs will make the future style battle impossible for f2p players. I just know that it’s going to be time consuming for 4 stars outfit only players.

@@Ploylice245 That's what I'm hoping, that this 'challenge' won't be that hard since most outfits you obtain outside of the gacha anyway. I feel like the Wishful Aurosa + the Kilo the Cadanceborn outfits are designed to help you clear the factions of version 1.0. It'll be nice to confirm that for sure, but like you say we don't know what the game will be like in future versions. Maybe by 2.0 the game will expect you to have multiple miracle outfits so new faction challenges will be harder. Or they could add new modes that incentivise you to pull on the gacha. Interested to find out!

@@boyfriendkisser as a Nikki Veteran: You can finish all challenges WITHOUT ever pulling any outfit, period. You have two choices: FARM or PULL. But all the sketches and other things you collect (or get for free) are more than enough.

Just finished watching the video! Pretty interesting. I’m a free to play player and I only do pulls from diamonds they give for free. I’ve also have been trying to space it out, so I still have 81 blue diamonds left. This game is pretty generous with their rewards. I would say the biggest thing is for players not to feel rushed. I haven’t crafted my wishful arosa outfit, and now realizing that the next miracle outfit is super resource intensive. I feel like I can take my time. I’m trying to gradually level my self up with no rush, and it’s been really rewarding so far!

@@VioletStone100 Agree, slowly building up your resources is key to these games! I think the grind for the second miracle outfit is because 1.1 is kind of a filler patch and I'm hoping the next one has more to do, so I do want to catch up before then

All the no-pull challenges I've seen (HSR, Genshin) usually allow limited-time event characters/weapons so I don't see why you shouldn't be able to use them here. If it really bothers you, I could see you only using them while the event is going on maybe? Honestly though, we're so early in the game that by the time these things aren't available anymore, either other items will come along to replace them or the difficulty will have scaled up enough that I'm not sure these videos will be an accurate representation of difficulty anyway. Honestly, I think the most important part of challenge accounts is for you to have fun doing them! Cheers!

They will add challenges that you need to craft and level specific outfits in the future. Like how in Love Nikki to do the Hard levels you needed full set of specific outfits. You see how there's sets that are secret sets like the Crimson Guard? Which is used on a Challenge on Mira already? Yeah, that will happen more often. They will add a paid version for who doesn't want to spend so much time crafting and gathering, and have a free version. Like how the new outfit 4* from the store, is essentially like the angel outfit in stats wise, so you can get that one instead if you don't wanna suffer crafting the angel one lol

There’s always some sort of limited time event that players can do for outfits, so I think using them is fine. It seems that the devs are going to continue releasing events.

I think it's fine to play with event outfits because it seems that there will be more free event outfits in the future. The shooting stars event came with an outfit for completing quests too.

I think so. There are/were a lot of F2P players in previous games (Love Nikki and Shining Nikki). You can beat the game, you just can't have 100% outfits.

I think the rules are good. I also doing free-to-play and no pulls challenge and using clothes that are given only from main quests and faction. Currently stuck at Sovereign of Sexy. Already glowed up clothes and have Eureka that are 4-star. The mirror crown pinnacle contest is so hard to pass without using the gacha or pulling system. For the level 8 to pass if I remember correctly the first round from 1.0 we have to use Sexy dress to win. Second round also need Sexy which is not obtainable unless you pull from Butterfly Dreams or Bubbling Affection to win. The third and current version 1.1 Mira Crown at final level we have to use that more than 4 Cool and Playful literally from the banner Wings of Whishes banner. In conclusion, this game is not that friendly to free-to-play if you want a 100% accomplishments. But you can enjoy the story without looking at the limited contest and play it to enjoy without spending real money. Anyways, great video thanks!

@@ammylife5678 Thanks for the insight! Have you got the Kilo the Cadanceborn outfit for Sovereign of Sexy? I haven't tried it myself yet (still haven't made time to work on this account since uploading this vid yet 😅) but I theorized that the Kilo outfits might be designed to get you through 1.0's factions. Haven't engaged much with Mira Crown yet. When the second half of 1.0 dropped and the requirements were less restrictive than the first half I thought maybe Infold had listened to feedback and made it more f2p friendly but the 1.0 update brought back similar '5 specific style&substyle piece' requirements. So I do wonder if the trend will continue.

i would say to keep the limited time outfits as even new players will eventually come across an outfit like that, at least they have the possibility to, and you're not pulling for them, so I don't see why not.

So far, I’ve not paid any real money for this game. I’ve unlocked the miracle outfit but it was hard work compared to the rest of the main story, which was simply go from A to B with the occasional style challenge. I’ve pulled a few banners and refilled some energy using resources I earned in game for free.

I enjoyed this video a lot! Every season seems, so far, to come with an event outfit you can earn through gameplay so I think it's fair game to use the f2p event items.

You get a ton of diamonds and crystals for free. I’m at about 13,000 diamonds and have 25 pink crystals. This is after spending a bunch that I had for free after pulling on the froggy banner. I’ve had about 30 of the blue crystals since then but I don’t save them since it’s the permanent banner and pull whenever I get 10.

Free limited event outfits should be fine since you are doing a "Without pulling on the gacha". Then again maybe if you are doing challenges. Might be best to opt with the free limited event outfits and also without them. This way near the future, f2p stylists hopefully can find your videos for help even if they have the free limited outfit events or not. Would love to follow your journey since I am kinda mid/f2p player.

@@CalKristopherLovell I just wish I could challenge faction members over and over, you can't rematch them once you get 'Perfect'. So I think I'll probably collect event items but try to go without using them in Styling Challenges, except maybe the limited time Mira Crown challenges (since you'd need to be playing the game that time anyway). I hope to get more videos in this series out soon to show f2ps what can be done! Thanks!
