Really enjoyed this, Blinge. Glad you went through with it! The commentary on your learning process and strategy etc was fascinating too - almost feel like trying the run myself! KF4 for your next magic-only project would be some undertaking. I cleared it for the first time a few months ago and genuinely couldn't say if it's possible. Think you have to whack the last boss three times with your sword, at least, but maybe there are other methods...

Indeed, this video is dank. I have spent a fair amount of time playing through every few years for the nostalgia. It came out at the perfect time and I somehow picked it up off the shelf of a tiny local game shop. I have always favor the overkill method of blasting magic and melee at the start of every fight. Front loaded damage but also not missing out on casting to skill up. My understanding is total damage is how your strength stat increases and it is probably the same for magic power. Never tried pumping one more than the other since by the end you one-shot everything. Oh and I always set Select button to cast heal or eat healing herb. Overpowered but I always wish this game had one more area... one more challenge. Your narration reminds me of the Ahoy channel guy.
@BlinJe2 жыл бұрын
I watched a lot of Ahoy before making this tbh hahah! Thanks man, that's a big compliment. Not really sure what you mean by total damage but yeah if you just focus on one it becomes more powerful. However the problem with nearly every KF game is, like you say, being OP by the end.. seems inevitable.
@FearsomeWarrior2 жыл бұрын
@@BlinJe Total damage done. So the more grinding the more levels. Similar but different from total enemies killed. Damage done to enemies raises your strength or int. I guess one could grind the demon guys at the end and buy more Verdite at the end to see how far it could go. May be able to drop a single Windcutter to down dragon lol

so its just something i thought of while watching but Seath is the good dragon in this story that gives the player many of the best resources to kill the dark dragon, including an armor set. but what would be the strongest material to make armor out of? something even a dragon would have trouble destroying? dragon scales. and if there are only two dragons of equal strength it would be tough to imagine seath being able to tear off enough scales from the evil dragon to create armor with. Seath the scaleless is a dragon that betrayed the other dragons (so from humanities pov he is a good dragon helping us defeat the evil dragons). i love fromsoft

I know this vid is 3 years old but I just wanna say if you use the truth mirror or whatever it's called on the rocking chair, it shows she's still there. On one hand, spooky invisible ghost lady. On the other hand, probably just made her invisible for programming reasons instead of deloading her entirely. Kinda surprised you went through the effort to move the npc blocking the path but didn't keep attacking to kill them outright.
@BlinJe Жыл бұрын
