Another Minecraft KZbinr I watch has figured out how to get the portal to light quickly EVERY TIME when using lava & planks. Put the lava down so that when you put the planks down over it the top of the planks are EVEN with the top of the base pieces of the portal. (HAS to be planks btw!)Typically only takes less than a couple minutes max to light! No clue why/how it works as it lights BEFORE the planks catch fire. But I’ve tried it multiple times myself & it has worked every time. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Figured I’d share since everyone seems to get frustrated when having to light the portal using wood & lava.
