Not sure if you did it (haven't watched the video completley so far) but had to say, that conjuration for the ghost and atronarch birth sign is one of the most broken combo in game. Summon the ghost for next to nothing, attack him and he will cast some spells that will restore you to full mana even with endgame stats. Bonus if you create your own spell with about 9 seconds summon, to anger the ghost, get 1-2 casts off of him until he just ends to exist because of the short timer.

... being breton is not so nice: you have an innate resist magicka, so, sometimes, you need to summon the ghost for 3-4 times for full magicka. also, if you wear a named armor, is "moar better"! :D

​@@miftosaurus Breton is overrated in morrowind anyway. Their resistance to magick doesn't do much in morrowind since spell damage taken is mostly elemental damage and for that only elemental resistances are taken into the calculation. That makes Nord in my opinion far superior with complete immunity to one damage type, 50% reduction from another and starting with 50 endurance as male (60 if taken as favoured attribute) is nothing to sleep on either. And if you go with the atronarch birth sign, the additional mana from Bretons isn't negligible.

One "how to" build I'd like to see is how to use blunt staff weapons as a mage character. It sucks that they keep handing out Wizard Staff, Staff of War, Staff of Peace, Magnus, Hisodeki and others and they just get left in a chest somewhere because mages never spec into blunt or know how to use them.

GG my man :D I'd have probably gone with something other than the Atronach and a restore fatigue spell plus just a regular summon weapon to be as self sufficient as possible, but your build might have been the better option. Btw, this is how actual armed combat works: you stay out of your opponent's range and strike them in a window where they can't strike you. Move a lot on your legs, observe the opponent, act when they can't hit you- few games recreate it as well as Morrowind.

Elemental shields in morrowind do retributive damage at a rate of 1 dmg for every 10 pts of shield. Oblivion changed it to resistance.

Probly be a whole lot easier to steal an ebony tower shield from one of the great house vaults, then just enchant it with 100% weakness to fire 100fire damage in 50ft, or lower the damage & make it greater over time. You could steal the enchanted soul gem from galbedier, or multiple other locations. Galbedier leaves her desk unnattended about 1 quest into ajiras.

Many years ago, there was a master enchanter in the renowned Morrowind forums named SR71. He developed extremely powerful two-phase enchantments and spells that broke the game in an unprecedented way. Many of his spells and enchantments can still be found online but there isn't a single video about his work or his person on KZbin. It would be cool if you could make a video about this mysterious person and his enchantments. I believe a video made by you would generate a lot of interest.

How are you running so fast? My memories of Morrowind are of how brutally slow I moved. Then in Skyrim I can outrun a wolf, running backwards, in full platemail, while drawing a longbow...

Speed is calculated really weird in Morrowind. It takes into account the weight of the character which is tied to the starting race, current encumberance, and then your actual speed stat. In this video I am a naked Nord. The Nord has a high base weight ,second only to Orcs, and I have no items and a high strength so my encumberance is super low. This makes for a very speedy boi at the start of the game.

33:02 What's it with Bard characters in DnD campaigns dying to rats? Seriously, the one DnD group in which i was for years also had this exact incident happen. ...And then the same player had his second character die in the exact same house where the swarm of rats was. And then while playing his 3rd character the player quit the group. He and another guy were just complete idiots all the time, i mean the bard that got killed by the swarm of rats actually also got pregnant before getting killed and i think the fathers were some Goblins, absolutely stereotypical. The second character from the second Idiot player suicided by... (having an infographic on all the characters open and i can't believe what i am reading) "Suicide by Goblin" ??? *AFTER* getting cursed and after he burned down an entire tavern (That must have happened when i was on vacation, because i can't remember this happening)... And the third character of the second idiot player got... murdered. By another player. Unwillingly. Reason was berserk mode because of a cursed axe. ... And i had my first character die because of greed and great misfortune. The fekkin Goblin that killed my first character actually survived until the end of the campaign and we played this one for 3 entire IRL years. Motherfucker Shadowhunter Ultra Elite Gobbo survived the entire thing, god damn it. My second character was just a stand-in character (but he survived till the end) and my 3rd also survived till the end. If you want to know what character i had, it's simple: Just ask yourself, what the most used build in Skyrim is. Then you have your answer. My guy was also Mr. Passive Perception, dude could frikkin smell shit from miles away. Also there are ways of a Bard to friendly fire really bad and unwillingly kill other players. And for Orcs with 0 brain to still completely burst down metal doors by force with their bare hands. That was some raw Power Gigachad Orc with 0 brain moment. ...Yes overall DnD is fun.

i think if u make a archer with conjuration and high agility and go to solstheim take the marksman ring u can make a archer lvl 1 with skill 70 and do this more easy, for me that are the strongest build for lvl 1

I need help. All my amulets disappeared from my magic items menu and so did a few spells. I'm not sure what caused it. The amulets are still in my inventory and I can use them if I hotkey them, but I can't select them in my magic items menu. The list starts with my racial spells, then my known spells, then magic items, but it starts the list with belts then rings then scrolls. It happened at some point during my attempt to get Hlormar and the witch to not kill eachother, but that took many days and lots of running with boots of blinding speed, flying with levitate and using the console to find Hlormar's position after he chased me half way to Sadrith Mora.

it's also one of the reasons many love Morrowind. If you are unskilled with a weapon (in a numbers sense, not "unskilled" as in you can't point your cursor at the enemy model), there's no reason to expect you land hits or do damage. It is good from a roleplay and immersion perspective, but bad in a strict execution sense.

I hate when quests remove good loot and reward you with gold. What's the point of making the item cool if it's useless to the player after turning in the quest? What's the NPC going to do with it? 3000 gold is nothing to a knowledgeable player but that 25 pts of Luck is pretty sweet. They should just let you keep the item, or make the item undesirable to the player if it's going to be taken away.
