I think chicken is probably better, I can’t think of any fights left that can stand up to the bombs and he has great per shot healing so the most dangerous thing to me feels like dying to too much self damage and this addresses that

I think that the bomb build aspect of this actually fits the terriball’s smallness attribute very well. The advantage of being small is that it’s easier to target special pegs through normal pegs, allowing you to hit bombs when needed, but then it more easily falls down the bottom so you don’t hit too many red bombs. Good showcase! As many people have pointed out, the hero’s backpack and deck duplication is probably the best way to buff the damage that comes directly from the terriball, and the smallness would help to hit guaranteed crits in that case rather than bombs.

I'm glad you're going into the custom menu for some fun builds. Make sure you check out the last page of relics for some special modifiers that I've been using as an excuse to make custom chars. My favorite if you want something unique is 2 swashbucklers, 2 gold producing orbs [that can't hit gold pieces].

You should consider picking super boots more, imo it would've been better than rallying heart, you could try to go for coins and land in the fire + it heals for free every battle instead of every battle you use 25 coins + it sometimes heals more especially if you have a lot of left over pegs from bomb sack
