This is one of my favorite Persona games, right after Persona 5 Royal, but my favorite boss is Akira, because his mech is sweet and it’s an epic fight, and if you’re looking for suggestions, since you mentioned Yakuza: Like a Dragon, I would love to see something like basic job and physical only kinda run, just to see how that would turn out.

I have just started a similar run, but instead of just using Jack, I can only use Persona who’s base level max out at Archangel. The logic being that at 16, it is the strongest thing that appears in the first dungeon. This gives me more diversity that the solo persona run, which I find more fun but also expands my options

I adore Strikers, it’s honestly one of my favorites. One of the toughest bosses for me in this game is probably Mariko Hyodo. Every boss has two weaknesses, usually meaning you would take the party members with the corresponding affinities. While Hyodo works the same way, she is actually weak to Psy and Curse. There is only one person in the entire game that knows Curse skills, Joker. Okay, yes Joker is always mandatory to have on the team but, the thing is that you usually have 3 teammates that can do super effective damage. For example, Alice is weak to Fire and Wind, meaning you would bring Ann and Mona. As well as Joker, since he can basically be any affinity he wants to be. Hyodo takes this away in a sense. Making only Joker and Haru being able to do super effective damage to her. It just makes her feel a lot tanker. It doesn’t help that she can just straight up EAT one of your teammates and slows you down in a blizzard. It’s not that big of a deal, it’s just something I noticed when playing through this game a couple of times. My favorite boss has to be Akira Konoe. The music, the dialogue, and the fight itself always makes me so hyped. We get a remix of Rivers in the Dessert in the first half, pretty much referencing back to Shido and then Counter Strike in the second half is just so bad ass. I could talk about Strikers for days but, I’ll just stop here. Awesome video!

Most bosses in Strikers are weak to some form of ailment that can be inflicted by the player. What that means is; while you don't technically have as much access to Hyodo's elemental weaknesses, she is actually weak to several mental ailments and is the only boss to inflict themselves with an ailment. That being Rage, a mental status ailment that Psy attacks get a technical hit off of, and the party member who has Psy attacks, Haru, also happens to have Technical Adept to increase her technical hit damage. Something Joker can also do by getting the chest with the Technical Adept skill card in Sapporo Jail. As for what major bosses are susceptible to what; Alice>Burn, Natsume>Freeze, Hyodo>Mental, Akane's Joker>Burn/Freeze/Shock just easiest to apply via environment, Akira Both Phases>Shock. And most mini bosses, not so mini bosses, Wardens, and Post-Game bosses, are susceptible to Dizzy and Sleep to some degree.

Absoulutly not, unfortunatly new game plus requires you to be level 90+ with 4 party members. Since the max level is 99, joker can't really overlevel making it near impossible

Another fun challenge would be could you be Strikers without pressing the return from jail button on hard and merciless. I might decide try that at some point. Though unfortunately you kinda need to break the rule to unlock merciless.

There's actually a sequence of fusion with Jack o lantern that can max a personas stats I'm pretty sure it's been awhile but in that sequence I got a Thor with max stats and I could have stopped at jack o lantern

I would say Alice was one of the hardest during my first playthrough of Strikers, I think it was because I was still getting used to the combat. But the boss fight that kicked my ass the worst was actually Akane's Joker, I eventually got through it, but man, it was brutal. The easiest to me that run was actually Ango, I completely steamrolled him and that was before I discovered how absolutely broken Yusuke and his Sukukaja is in this game, the fact that once he buffs himself with it, he can absolutely shred a boss's shields like wet paper is insane.

A bit late, but nice run! Not sure if you knew, but if you use a strong attack during your string of normal attacks, you can activate a persona skill without using sp. For jack-o-lantern, the skills are agi and rakunda. If you ever do another run of this game, i hope this helps! 🙂

the hardest boss in this game is akira the hero v3 from the second rematch requests. in that fight specifically he spams heat riser and has fast megido barrages that oneshot you from range on high difficulties. the final boss is a joke compared to him. even the reaper is arguably easier.

Hmmmm, first time playing, it has to be the 2nd and/or the 3rd main boss in the game to be the hardest for me. Also, the last story boss is very easy (Me: who over grinded to Lvl 70-75, or even more if I want to, when grinding because I was grinding for the needed SP items for the last part of the game and grinded over like 500+ HP and like 100+ SP items, and have one of my fav Persona equipped that block good amount of the damages from Emma's final Boss Fight, Seth, that I have no idea was a Powerful Shadows Boss). The reason for the over lvls because the under part of the jail that you be locked into still you escapes, there the big slime mini boss that wall me since I was under lvl for a while (I believe I was like in the 60s and the boss show up red which mean I am under lvl) and have no SP items to heal the need SP to do the needed Psy and Nuked damages since my 2 users are also under lvl and get killed with 10 sec. Also, I was mainly using Persona during that time before the big grind using melee skills, and the mini boss block them. Also, it been months when I power on the game, and P5S is a very good game

We're working through the roster of personas on this channel haha. Since lots of people have already done Arsene stuff, it's fun to try out other weak personas like Bicorn, Mandrake etc that no-one would ever really use because they're so bad. Hope you enjoy the video!

I don't know but I feel like recent videos are not as charming or memorable as older videos. My suggestion would be doing a Final Fantasy Challenge Run next because I personally find them to be the best. Most entertaining, well paced, filled with memorable moments...and the view counts on those videos seem to agree with me.

Yeah Final Fantasy is a much more popular series and therefore gets a lot more views. I just do this as a hobby though, I'm not chasing views. I just play whatever game seems fun at the time and if people want to come along for the ride then great! The next video will be Final Fantasy VII. I'm also working on something special FFX but it'll take quite some time to put together.
