OH-KO moves have more accuracy against opponents with a lower level. It's 1% more for each level difference.

Yep, I mentioned that at the start! It goes up by 0.8% each time. That's why I followed a level cap

You can but even in Gen 1 they almost NEVER work and that's even for the WILD pokemon battles that its NOT worth it they also ONLY have like 5 USES of EACH one even in the Gen 1 game where Horn drill is pretty much the ONLY instant kill move.

The thing about OHKO moves in Gen 1 is, you also have to outspeed your opponent in order for the move to land. You're not really gonna see a Rhydon outspeed stuff to land a horn drill. Of course, you can start the battle with an X speed and X accuracy then spam those moves, that's what speedrunners typically do when running Nidoking in the late game, use those then spam fissure (Giovanni gives you that TM in the 8th gym)

35:43 i thonk the fact that some mon were about a level or 2 lower plays a factor as for every level higher the user is to the opponent +1 is added to accuracy so for time when the ace was 24 but you were fighting a lv 23 mon the OHKO moves had 31 accuracy

Definitely played a small factor, with the additional 0.8% per level. But I do think we ended up around 2-2.5% higher than what the accuracy should've been

This could've been a clever option, but Smeargle's low defensive stats means it likely would die to most Pokémon before the extended moveset could be used. At least that was the thought process
