Can You Beat Pokemon Colosseum With The Worst Team? (NO ITEMS)

I don't think I've ever seen anybody do a challenge like this for Colosseum before.
Can I beat one of the most difficult pokemon games with a team of the worst pokemon in the game?
All while not using the legendaries or Espeon and Umbreon?

I have so many things to say...First of all, it’s so good to finally see someone who values Colosseum so highly! I love these games and they’re probably in my top 3 Pokémon games of all time. I love the challenge it already gives you of limited Pokémon and to see you use NU Pokémon in this already fairly challenging game....amazing! And then to complete the ENTIRE game?? Insane. Absolutely genius dude. Secondly, your commentary and editing is amazing. I’m so surprised that this DOESNT have more views, simply from the jokes you crack and the masterful editing. I hope you make more Pokémon challenges in the future because I’d totally watch all of them, especially if they’re in more unique games like the gamecube Pokémon games. Third, please do this challenge for XD! I saw in a couple replies you were considering doing it, and I’m telling you it would be amazing. Of course if you don’t want to I understand, I mean it probably took forever just to do this challenge alone, along with the editing and scripting etc, but it’d be totally worth it. Sunny: I grinded at Mt Battle, not kidding, just to grind levels. Not to mention, Umbreon gained a few levels. Also... (Groaning intensifies) Mt battle battle mode takes the cake for me. Infin is exclusive to Mt battle Singles, while Inity is exclusive to mt battle doubles.

Very original idea for a playthrough of this game. I have replayed this game around 6 times or so in my life, but never tried something like this. I try to use diffrent pokemon to change it up. I have even used furret and Yanma. My first playthrough was rough, but this game felt very special to me. This and XD are some of my favorite pokemon games ever. I was wishing this had a sequel in the WiiU or switch.

I had a similar idea earlier this year but I have no way to record gamecube games (and I dont have any subscribers but whatever) my idea was to use a team of Delibird, Jumpluff, Dunsparce, Ledian, Murkrow and Plusle the 6 worst pokemon in the entire game in my opinion. Potential swapouts being: Sunflora, Sneasel, Aipom, Gligar, Yanma, Magcargo and Noctowl

Just and FYI a Pokemon's competitive tearing is not necessarily indicative of how good it is in game. A Pokemon can be NU in smogon tiering but be considered good to excellent for clearing a game despite not being very good competitively(ie. Sudowoodo, Tauros and Venonat in HGSS come to mind) Ultra balls only have a multiplier of 2, Net balls have a multiplier of 3 on water and bug Pokemon. Timer balls are literally not worth using as they don't have worthwile catch rate over Ultra balls until turn 11 and don't max out until turn 30. Gen 5, 6, and 7 they are the best balls for catching legendaries. Also catch rate for Pokemon in the GameCube games can be different than their mainline counterparts. Entei, Suicune and Raikou all have a Catch rate of 15, up from the standard of 3.

Hey, just so you know, Timer Balls really only gain somewhat good effectiveness after 10 turns, and are realistically most effective after 40 turns. Without the boosts, they are as effective as a Poké Ball, I believe. So Ultra Balls would’ve been your best bet on that Metagross, but you caught it anyway! Just for your future reference.

I've been doing exactly this the last few weeks. But I found that Octillery was excellent. Sudowoodo is pretty much crap. Bringing Plusle was a funny idea and not one I did. I brought the likes of Jumpluff, Furrett, Yanma and Magcargo though. Tropius is actually very good

This is my team on my current playthrough Espeon Umbreon Feraligatr Noctowl Magcargo Ariados Ariados is extremely underrated in this game it was vital to beating Mirror B in Realgam Tower I used Sludge Bomb against his Ludicolo's I throughly enjoyed using it and I would also recommend Misdreavus, Forretress and Jumpluff. I might use Octillery on my next playthrough.

Ok so a note on Plusle. It's the only Pokemon that learns Encore before post game, the best support move in the entire game. It's legitimately good in Colosseum even without handicaps on what Pokemon you can pick. I'm glad you had a lot of good things to say about Plusle otherwise, but god damn is it an overly underrated Pokemon in Colosseum. I just threw exp share on mine and it was almost level 80 by the end and was hitting harder than anything in my team and also taking hits better than anything in my team. It's absurdly good.

I have to give u credit for choosing such a lesser known Pokemon game and knowingly using such a horrible team. Really good Pokemon game that did very well financially considering: Gen 3 was not as popular, the game received almost no promoting, and it was on the GameCube (a not particularly popular console). This game could do really well if it was remade with current mechanics and a lot more Pokemon. It's pretty funny that Mirror B is among the most memorable people in the franchise

Ya, Rui is sensitive to Aura or at least thats my explanation for her being able to see it. Whihc Means Lucario could detect Shadow Pokemon too. Also Miror B is the best villain. Dakim simply leapt to the nearest mountain, which is horrifying. Venus is the emotionally manipulative celebrity. But yes, she's the most boring.

This was fun to watch but I think its important to note that a pokemons viability in competitive play doesn't always go hand in hand with how good they are in game however. A pokemon can be good in competitive but bad in a playthrough of a game and vice versa. That being said most of the pokemon you used are trash in both lmao

I use the Time Flutes on these 3 Pokemon 'Tyranitar', 'Metagross' & 'Skarmory' and just wondered why you considered Piloswine as a bad Pokemon I used it as a main team member on a recent playthrough and it was very useful especially as its immune to Electric I used this moveset Ice Beam, Blizzard, Earthquake & Protect and by the way Sunflora is actually quite good if used right.

You can use the PC to restore your pokemon. Just plop them in and out, and they'll automatically recover

Thing is, the PCs are almost always right next to a healing station, so that ends up just wasting time. Might've saved me some time at the Cipher lab, though!
