Can You Beat Ratchet & Clank 3 With Only The RY3NO?

WARNING: TONS of flashing lights in this one.
Ratchet & Clank 3's arsenal is filled to the brim with stupidly awesome and ridiculously powerful weapons. And even then, there's one that stands out above the rest... But can even the ultimate weapon take on the entire adventure on its own? Today we try to beat the game with only the RY3NO!
DETAILED RULES:
- No weapon listed under the "Weapons" menu may be used at any point, other than the RY3NO and all of its upgarded forms.
- The Omniwrench may not be used at any point, except to turn bolt cranks.
- Anything other than the RY3NO capable of dealing damage is considered illegal unless deemed necessary to progress (turrets, vehicles, etc.).
Note: This run takes place in Challenge Mode a.k.a. New Game Plus.
- No armour sets may have been obtained when setting up the file, forcing Ratchet to begin equpped with only the Alpha Combat Suit.
- Armour sets may only be obtained after reaching the point in the game where that armour set would originally be unlocked in a new playthrough (e.g. the Adamantine armour is usually unlocked after completing Aquatos, therefore the player must wait until that point before buying it)
- No optional items or gadgets may have been obtained when setting up the file, so that the player must collect them from their usual locations

RY3NO after the shield challenge, I see you needed some big time relief. The amount of effort you put into that shield challenge even though it wasn't even possible to fully complete.

Jokes aside, try to do this in a normal NG (not +) with the debug code, and see If it's doable, of course you're gonna shread through enemies but ammo wise you will struggle because ryno ammo cost a lot so you're going to constantly run out of bolts, try If you want

The R.Y.3.N.O. is the only Ratchet & Clank weapon I wish I could revert back to LV1 and keep it there. The upgrades ruin it.

Probably my least favorite version of the ryno, honestly. The first one had more punch despite being weaker, the second was an almost perfect jack of all trades, the fifth one was literally almost perfect, and the fourth was just this one but more consistent. And that's my main problem with it. It goes from a rocket launcher to a laser launcher to the zodiac. And as cool as the zodiac was, it was also incredibly buggy, overpriced, underpowered, and should have just stayed its own weapon. I would have much preferred if the RY3NO just stayed a rocket launcher like it's supposed to be.

How about some basic elemental weapons only? Beat R&C 1 only with flamethrower (no upgrade), and Going Commando with tesla claw only (can upgrade, but must play in first person only, too).

Is the Ry3no weaker at V5+? It does disintegrate weak enemies but against bosses it does next to nothing compared to the V4 version.

@@bayardkyyako7427 I wanna say that V5 does deal the highest damage of any single shot to all enemies on-screen, but if all shots of the V4 are concentrated on a single enemy, then combined they add up to a higher damage total, if that makes sense

@@matticusomega Ahh I figured it could be something like that. One thing I remember finding interesting about V5+ is if you're close enough then the rockets will deal damage before exploding, good to know though I might not full upgrade it my next playthrough.
