@@JohnPeacekeeper Getting a better/permanent upgrade to the knife would be dope as hell as it's supposed to be your "always there" companion. I'm on the fence about melee weapons. Doesn't really mesh with the gameplay IMO. I know some of the big overhaul mods do it, but I just don't see it in STALKER.

Can I beat STALKER 2 without upgrading the knife? Alternatively: Knife can't be upgraded but we can now gun bash like all human enemies can (minus zombies), though knife will be stronger. 15:19 to 17:11 - I remember making a video on this run over a year ago. I remember using the elevator glitch to reach the Monolith sniper and knife him to death to get his Gauss Rifle. It was an easier feat after pulling off the glitch, though it did trigger my (successful) pacifist run PTSD. 😵 An entertaining watch nonetheless from a fellow stalker! 🥫🥖

Theoretically, you can get to the Gauss monolith with an elevator glitch, it would be a lot easier than dragging a chair up 3 floors

You don't need to push a chair to knife the monolith sniper. You can do something called the elevator glitch. There are multiple tutorials about it on youtube, it's simple to perform and it works in all stalker games and mods. It allows you to essentially fly up to the ledge and drop down on it, it only works on perfectly flat surfaces though.

yo, infos, to gain a little stamina boost when you dont get artefact, you drink energy drink (yes, of course) but also, dont forget to eat food at the same time you drink, it give you a little boost of stamina that is by far NOT bad at all, because it can be the little boost that give you infinite stamina.

Honestly, the knife is quite good at what it does. The problem that needs fixing is you can't reliably hit anything because enemy bounding boxes are so big and you cannot get close enough to strike them.

Воу, мєн ти просто красень. Бо я сам пів року назад пройшов COP ножем (ну, типу) Тільки сейвився на базах, для зручності. Я ніколи не думав, що найскладніший челенж для мене буде не вбивство хімери ножем чи псевдогіганта, а саме контролер) Я так і не зміг вбити його, тому іноді юзав гранати (так мій челенж став only knife(and grenades) Я знав що того монолітовця з гаус-пушкою можна буде вбити тільки гранатою ф1 Я це перевірив пізніше, загрузивши готовий сейв в прип'яті (все ж я вважаю, що багоюзити "ліфт" - крінж) Єдине що на мою думку - юзати екзоскілет без модифікації на спрінт - ну зовсім зайве Бо Бронекостюм Обов'язку - самий міцніший костюм в грі, і в ньому можна бігати. Тому я з перших секунд гри запідранив його отримання І в підсумку грати було весело І легше, чим проходити Stalker SOC ножем Я локацію саркофаг на майстері так і не зміг пройти(
