Ink consumption is so hard so I never did any rigorous only hard once in a while if really good

For that "terrible portal map", all you have to do is stay on the lower level and kick the enemy shells off the bounce pad into the portals. If you go up to the top level, it will start spawning powerful enemies.

Literally everyone I’ve seen on KZbin has gone up to the upper section and has either died or come very close to it. It certainly fills me with emotions when people do that.

For some context behind the mobile ink recovery chip: the game explains this when you collect a few a them, as it goes into effect whenever you’re moving, regardless if you’re in swim form, or in humanoid form. With a full set of these, while using the roller, or brush, you could refill ink as you’re using your roller/brush’s rush (rolling/brushing) attack, and you could rush for as long as you can without ever having to run out of ink, which is VERY useful for when running away from swarms of jelletons, and even Overlorder’s sting ray, and reef slider attacks for long periods of time.

There are a few bonus challenges that could be interesting. Some like no main weapon, sub weapon, special weapon, and no gliding are all proven possible easily, but one I think could be a tough challenge to do is “no moving in octoling” which also can be considered as the no running challenge. The rules are easy. If you move in kid form in any way, the challenge fails.

fun fact! rush attack up makes this whole setup even more broken! it increases moving attack damage. brush/rollers rolling, moving with the brella shield and launching it, and most importantly, ultra stamp damage. maxed out, two swings is all you need for most portals, and it makes overlorder look like a joke.

honestly i think dualies could be extremely good with the right setup. dodge roll attack, mobile ink recovery, and extra dodge rolls (in order of priority) make u able to continuously roll around the stages while nothing can touch you. combine the roll attack with rush knockback and you become a cannonball. only problem is damage output (which can easily be fixed with several power/range chips) and getting lucky enough to get all of those chips in a single run

is it possible to play all of Side Order just in SWIM FORM? I'm not fantastic at Splatoon, but with Callie's pallet (but mostly using Blue chips, so I had the bias off), I beat the final boss mostly just in squid form (with my chip setup, it would have been possible to beat the boss fully in swim form, but I wasn't fully up to the challenge) My setup: Chips: Swim Speed 3 Rush attack 7 Rush Knockback 5 Squid attack Mobile special charge 5 Mobile drone charge 5 Drone inkstrike 5 Drone-Gauge charge 3 Special charge up 2 Max of most hacks, and I had Callie's Kracken Special (I tried Sheldon and Shiver with high bias first, but the vending machine did not want me to have the Kraken special)
