The reason why you have infinite magnetism at festivals is due to an old duplication glitch involving dropping golden pumpkins on the ground at the spirits eve festival. people were going crazy with the glitch and making millions, so i believe ConcernedApe added this feature to prevent that.

Pretty simple from my understanding. Say your usual max energy is 270 (base game at the very beginning) and if you eat something that gives you +30 max energy temporarily, you'd have max of 300 energy until the effect ends.

How far through the Community Centre can you get by playing like Linus? Foraging, dumpster diving and receiving gifts only? No doing any work yourself, so no planting crops, no cutting trees etc, just living off of what you can pickup off the ground, out of bins and being gifted. Additionally, can you move up in the world like upgrading your house etc.

Several people, including me, have done a "No-Energy Run" where we complete major goals like this without using even a single point of energy. But I haven't seen one of those done without planting any crops or animals. Also, income from doing quests/jobs is very helpful. Yes, the house can be upgraded too. I did a Linus run once, but I allowed that he does fish and mine. I just didn't allow him to sell anything he fished or mined. But it helped him to get gems and treasures he needed for the museum and other uses. I might have also allowed him to grow forage or seeds he did not buy. My thought was that Linus was against supporting the commercial industries.
