you get a letter in 201, 251, 301, and 351 because thats where the limits were in previous expansions, and they never really removed the letters. so they're like achievement markers. getting to 351 will take you like 3 days probably simply because 200 is where the difficulty ramps up to the point the m2g87 cant keep up anymore, each enemy takes a few minutes to defeat + you have to lure them into a 1v1 situation or you'll get oneshot ganked pretty easily, even with +19 gear.

I appreciate the advice, thankfully I'm already aware of 1v1's so it made the climb to 200 a relative breeze. Fireworks to distract and using the Knife for damage will likely be enough for most of the content, and the Bowler will help compensate for the lack of Blunt damage. The flail is always an option too that I'll consider.

I really love this game, it's probably my favourite Suda51 game aside from No More Heroes. Thanks a lot for sharing, it's eye opening to see so much skill and min-maxing with the decals and stuff. I remember all I did at the time was equip the meanest looking weapon/armor I could and just go for it lol

I rather adore players like yourself, who stick with one game and tackle seemingly impossible challenges. You think you might do some sorta Scavenger challenge run? Make a fresh or use a disposable character, start unequipped and just see how far you can go using only what you find or loot off of enemies? Up until death, naturally?

In any game, that has increasable stats (through equipment and/or talent points) and that also has Crit Chance and Crit Damage as possible stats, these two are usually some of the strongest way to increase your damage period. I actually saw in another video that you can preload a shot with the m2k by stopping the dial on what you want to fire and instead of tap aim for the three-round burst, aim then tap just as quick and it'll fire what you had pre-loaded but I may be wrong

Yes this works but I've never been able to do it because it's really hard to do, I believe having a slower framerate makes doing this easier but thankfully the trick isn't necessary.

@@callumdegr8 Coming back to it, I can def tell I brute forced my way as far as I could when younger. Never somehow realized the farming aspect. You got any quick tips to possibly make the curve quicker to grasp?

@@TheNikolasC ​ The Let It Die Wiki is your best friend when it comes to farming materials in advance and knowing what you need. Learning how and where to get certain mushrooms is very important because they're overpowered. As for making the curve easier to grasp, use any Decals you've got with the Happy Wheeler armour and Iron weapon because they are easy to upgrade and climb with!

I had a handful of things mastery 20 , that's how much i was farming floors 1-9 for a bit, but i'll try to keep all of this in mind

Man Callum said you don't need to pay to play. Notices all the death medals he has xD, correct me if I'm wrong you can earn death medals from tengoku or tdm or other events if I remember correctly. Paying is convenience but I mean the express pass for the elevator was enough for me to pay. I also threw money away early game for mats out of the machine though ngl. Also for decals and the daily login is nice. LID was the game that broke me into paying and wasting money in games. I played Kurtzpel after LID and PUBG and CS2 used to get my money too.

And whilst i made progress I do know that it wasn't any kind of progress that couldn't have been significantly more if I did have the pass. Besides, I wouldn't mind spending the £15 just to see what kind of features it adds. I play FGO and have spent more money on that then I would like to, so it isn't anything new. The one point of contention would be seeing whether it's worth the monthly expenditure or not. I'm very opposed to subscription services as a rule so I doubt I'm gonna be all in unless it really saves time

@ I think for my skill level at the game paying "helped" lessen the grind is all. I think LID as free to play is fine. I caved and threw money away to expedite the grind. I died a lot when I played too. Skill issue for me so I opened my wallet at times.

@@kimetozouach Yes you are correct, There are many free methods to obtain death metals. Using them for materials is certainly a waste, instead use it for storage as you need a lot of it! I've spent money on the game over the years, but I wouldn't say much.

@@Oni4308 I'd say it would be very hard for a new player to get the skin. You need to beat Red Napalm (One of the four forcemen) on Nightmare difficulty numerous times. Armour skins can only be applied when the armour has been upgraded.

The player base is small but going strong. I would love to see this game grow again because I'm very passionate about it! Deathverse, a game made by the same developers however did die and get shut down a few months after release.

I will say it's not a P2W game but it has some layer of artificial difficulty for sure. Just so you end up buying those revival items. I got really bored because how tedious game is becoming the more you play it.

I’d argue that if something is too difficult, then you’re probably not prepared enough. All of the content in the game can be beaten without paying to revive on the spot.

meanwhile people beat 351 in less then a year f2p . or get those decals by just playing the game and doing quests , ofc getting ALL decals equires money but isnt that so for all f2p games ? given u can get 10 death metals for 50 cent its a really good and fair deal compared to every other f2p game
