The cool thing about arm wrestling is that people in the sport actually stay competitive for a VERY long time. You probably could find a retired arm wrestler who is actually in their 60s/70s that could actually still beat these guys. Take a look at Allen Fisher. He used to be a champ and is now STILL insanely strong 💪.

Armwrestling is such a specific sport to train your muscles in. I've seen guys being mauled at this game by smaller guys than chance with ease. It's just that most people don't train 1. their forearms and 2. train the technique at all.

yeah the technique is a HUGE part of it. if you watch some of the devon larrat vids on youtube you can see him go against some dudes that look like monsters in comparison (devon is a huge frickin dude himself) and he just makes it look like childs play cuz his technique is just other worldly. theres a lot more physics that goes into it than just raw strength.
